We've decided to stay at Universal at one of those resorts since we are spending more time at Universal, Sea World and other attractions in Orlando. We are only visiting Magic Kingdom, once maybe twice for our daughter. I think staying near Universal will be a better choice for us. I'm booking tonight, so I would love to hear back from some that have stayed at any of the above resorts. THANKS! :earsgirl:

You might be better off posting this in the Universal Resorts forum for more advise? There are some pinned threads at the top of the forum - one for each of the resorts!

Please visit the Universal Board, you will find tons and tons of great infos there.

I have some great infos there that I have posted. Just do some searching. I have stayed at both RPR and HRH. Since I am a tropical kind of gal, I love the themeing at RPR, it is themed to South Pacific. HRH is themed to more of an upbeat more Californian style. They are both wonderful resorts. I don't really care to stay at PBH, it is just a tad far from the parks, though you can use the taxi boat or bus. Lot of great infos on the other board- Universal Resorts.

Have a super duper time there!! Enjoy your FOTL access!! :) Join the Loews, it will give you some perks. Again all this infos is on the other board. Depending on the time and availabilities, sometimes you can get discounts if you have AAA. Fan Club, or Entertainment Card. Again, infos are on the other board.

BTW...You can pool hop there! :)

Hey y'all (again) - I've been answering a lot of your threads :)

I've only stayed at the HRH, with my family of 4. We loved it! Nothing like being able to walk out that gate behind the pool restaurant (can't remember what it's called) and take the short walk over to the parks.

We had a reg pool view room, I think it was on the 6th floor (this was a couple of years ago) and an awesome view of the pool and the parks beyond. We had two queens, very comfortable. At that time DD was small enough to sleep in the pack n play. Next time we may book a deluxe room - I think there's a sofa in that so one child could sleep there. My kids don't share a bed well.

It's very upbeat at the HRH, great music in the common areas, nice pool for the kids - it's not too deep, DS loved the slide - went down it about a million times.

And the best thing (if they still do this, I haven't been frequenting this board much lately) in the front of the line access with your room key. It didn't work on every ride but most and it's really nice. Especially since you're going in July right? It will be hot and crowded so not having to stand in verrrrrrrry long lines is a big plus. I'm sure someone else on this board can verify if this is still available.

Have fun - pick up some personal misty fans somewhere like Target or Walmart - they are sooooo nice when it's that hot and sooooo expensive (at least in the Disney parks)!

One more thing - don't plan your trip(s) to the MK on Saturdays, or the days that Magic Kingdom is the early entry park. I don't know currently what days of the week those are - but I'm sure you can find out over on the Disney Theme Parks board. It will be even more crowded on those days!

Since you said you were booking last night it is probably too late but I have stayed at all 3 USO resorts and most of the WDW deluxes. You can't go wrong with any of the USO resorts. I would suggest that you do Disney first. After you experience the hotel's express line privileges you will be spoiled and not want to stand in all those WDW lines.

*Fantasia*-
Did you find a place to live? It was nice seeing you at RPR.

RPR is great we l.oved the theming and the friendly staff
