Anyone Rent a Minivan from Alamo Lately??

I asked this question awhile back and got some pretty good responses from people who were pleased...but I want to ask again because we are arriving next Saturday and wanted to see if someone had an experience renting a minivan from Alamo in the past few weeks or so.
The big question we have is what kind of choice you get....and if you actually walk out into the lot to go pick it out! Also curious what kind of wait you had after your flight arrived.

We rented an SUV from Alamo a few weeks back and were able to pick out the one we wanted. I'm not sure how it is with vans, but I was pretty impressed with the selection of SUVs. We got there very late on a Friday night (midnight), so there was no wait at the counter or to get out of the lot. But even when we've rented during the day, they usually have lots of people manning the counter so the line moves pretty fast. The worst wait is usually to get out of the garage. Check-in is typically a very quick process.

We rented a mini van from Alamo in July for 2 weeks and we were given our choices of many that were available. REgular vans as well as grand vans. We ended up with a montana, I think, and it was an 8 seater. Very pleased with the car and service.

Alamo minivan in April, got our pick of the 6 available vans/minivans. We took a Chevy Venture (much like the Montanas) that had eight seats with the back three that folded into the floor. This time (next week!) Avis was cheaper b/c of a special promotion direct from their website.
