Back in 2001 this is the one ride that made me feel sick and the feeling lasted about 2 hours:sick:

The rest of the holiday I was really nervous about going on any ride that said not suitable for pregnant women - may cause motion sickness etc

However, as time goes on you start to look back with rose tinted glasses and now I've pretty much got over it and last time went on most things

Now my question is Star Tours. I "think" I went on this last time and I was OK but it's niggling at the back of my mind that this replaced Inner Space?

My DD1 is mad about Star Wars and is so excited about the new ride so I just wanted to check with people if they have ever felt ill after going on this ride?

I've just had a quick look at the blog at the new version and it looks great so I'd love to be wrong about it replacing Inner Space - the vomit ride from hell :rolleyes1

Could you be thinking about Body Wars, which was the motion ride that went through the body literally!!! it was pretty disgusting and I remember it made my DH feel really sick for hours on end, the boys too. I didnt go on it and was really glad as I had just got a drink and didnt want to finish quickly so stayed to hold the bags. Boy was I glad !! their faces when they came off it were bad enough!! Green. Not sure if this was the one you were talking about but my DH said it reminded him of the film Inner Space . Been on Star tours too didn't care for that either.

Howdy

From a bit of googleing I think Inner space was replaced by Star Tours in the same building, but it is not a new version of the same ride.

From experience the usual rides to be wary of if you suffer from motion sickness (as my DW does) would be Star Tours (which is now 3D as well) plus Mission Space and I imagine the sum of all fears - These are to my knowledge the only simulator type rides.

Interestingly my DW is a big fan of all the normal roller coasters, loves RnRc, BTM, SM etc but cannot cope with Star Tours or anything that just spins like Primeval Whirl!

Hope this helps

Chris

if you're talking about body wars, yes that one made me sick - literally....lost my lunch after riding it....much worse for me than star tours..

Body wars was the inner space style ride in epcot, Star Tours is the star wars based one at DHS. The ride is now gone and rumour has it that the parts of this ride were taken to fix the star tours ride.

Both of those rides made me really sick.

Though from recent reports the new Star Tours is not nearly as bad as the old one for motion sickness.
