Anyone regret an inside cabin

Out of 58 DCL cruises we have had an inside 3 times. My son and his family prefer insides but I don't. I don't need a verandah but I do like natural light and that I can get with an ocean view. I never use an alarm clock at home and tend to wake as soon as it gets light out. My times in an inside cabin threw me off. I felt out of sorts in the morning. If I had no other choice I would take an inside but prefer ocean views. We sailed in a verandah last month on the Wish and our son's family had 2 adults and 2 kids in an inside and it was tight. They were fine with it but if it was just 2 of us I might do it again. I don't think I could do 4 in an inside.

Just had an ocean view on Deck 2 on the Treasure last week. It was great. Loved our location right off the aft elevator. We had connecting cabins 2618 and 2620 with our friends.

We’ve sailed on the Dream class in inside rooms as a family of 4 with no issues. One time was with a pack and play. We are fine with simple and can stay in value resorts at WDW. My sister and her family are Deluxe all the way, but we don’t spend time in the room. The key to the inside rooms is being organized.
