Anyone regret an inside cabin

I haven't sailed an inside myself however I sailed with a friend who booked one. Actually she booked two as there were extended family with her. Her young daughters invited me to their cabin for nibbles before dinner, they ordered a few things from room service. I went but was only able to stay for a few minutes as I felt a lot of motion. I do get sea sick on boats but I don't, as a rule, on larger ships. I don't know if it was the small size or no windows but I felt the rocking motion. The nausea was coming on quick. I could never sleep in one without having to have a bucket by my side.
I know people do like them but just something to think about. If you do get sea sick at all make sure you take something to settle your stomach.

The cruise I'd like to take on the Wonder is mostly sold out, but a few insides are available. This would be my 12th Disney cruise, but I've never done an inside-mostly ocean views. It's only a 4 night cruise. Convince me I won't regret booking an inside. (I'm cruising solo)
We have always booked an inside stateroom. The thought behind this is that we don’t want to stay in our rooms. We also get great sleep with the room so dark.

I did an inside stateroom once (not on DCL) and never again for me. I had issues with anxiety and feeling sort of "claustrophobic." For me it was also disorienting not having any natural light.

Yes, those are pretty specific things and might not affect many other people, but I did want to mention it.

We just did a 7 night (a month ago) in an inside cabin. We had only done a verandah before but this time we booked 2 months ahead so the prices were high. We also have to exchange from CAD to USD so that added approx 40% to the cost. The verandah would have been an additional $1200 which just did not seem worth it. So we went with the attitude that we don't know if we like it or not until we try it. Also, we were not going on the cruise to hang out in the room. The end result was that the inside was totally fine. I would do it again without hesitation. I slept really well, I assume due to the darkness but also we were in a fairly quiet location. There was a crew corridor right behind our room and a few times at night I could hear some banging but the latest I recall hearing it was 11:30pm...that's typically the time I was going to bed anyway. DH heard nothing.

I've done 3 cruises and have done verandah or ocean view staterooms for all of them. The view is nice, but in general I don't spend much time in the room and when I'm in the room it's usually late (so I can't see anything) and/or I'm sleeping. So I questioned whether it's worth the extra few hundred dollars. I recently booked a 7-night cruise on the Treasure, so to get the best price, I booked an interior cabin. Everything I've heard about them is encouraging (quiet, good sleep, etc.) and I'm the only one staying in there, so I have no concerns! I'll enjoy that extra money for art or souvenirs.

We just got back from treasure. We had 9020 verandah and our kids had 9017 inside. It was small. The couch was a good 8 inches shorter so my 16year old didn’t fit ok it comfortably. _’s there was zero drawer storage on the inside room compared to ours and of course the split bath
We will not do it again

Go for it! We mainly cruise ocean view. We cruised for the first time in an inside room on a 12 night cruise following our first cruise with a veranda. I was a little worried about the shock of going from veranda to inside. Did not even notice. We are only in our room to sleep. We enjoy so many areas on the ships. We were also a family of four.
We found clicking to the DCL website brings up far fewer cruises available than clicking on YOUR DCL email link.
Also clearing cookies before booking usually brings up a cheaper price as well.
Strange but so true.

Also more cabins available to those without kids than with kids.
So if no cabin available, clear it to just the two of you and amazing how more cabins suddenly appear.

DCL phenomena.

I always book inside (solo traveler). If I'm in the room during the day it's usually to get away from the crowds and noise elsewhere. The Dream and Fantasy obviously have the nice virtual porthole, which I make sure to have turned on. On the other ships if I want a view of outside I'll turn on the bridge view on the TV. Works well enough for me.

My wife and I have been on 24 cruises 23 on DCL and 21 has been an inside room. Some people will tell you the better the stateroom you have the more time you will spend in that stateroom. I don’t go on cruises to spend more time in the stateroom. For me a stateroom is to do the five things that starts with the letter S and to get dress. Some of the cruises have been long 2 transatlantic, 2 Panama canals, a med, Hawaii, 12 night southern Caribbean not DCL. No regrets.
I can figure out 4 of them, 2 in the bathroom and 2 in the bed...maybe 'snack' is the last one???

Just curious, is it true an inside room is better for those prone to sea sickness?
