Anyone Prefer 3-4 Day over 7 day?

Just wondering if I had an off trip or something. Last year we went on the seven day cruise and I was all excited. DD had loved the kids clubs when she was 4-5, and she kept asking to go back. She didn't like it as well in the Oceaneer's Lab and kept asking to stay in the cabin - she doesn't like sports that much and there was a lot of that and less "girly" stuff to do. Guess she is in that tween stage... I got sick near the end of the trip - really sick when I got home- not Norwalk or anything like that. I wasn't a happy camper when we left the ship. Maybe we had an off time, or maybe cruising isn't for us after all? I really loved the shorter cruises and wondered if anyone else feels that way? Any suggestions for tweens if we give it another try?

Oops! This shouldn't be here in the trip reports. Sorry! Can someone move me over?

I really don`t know that I would be able to keep THAT busy on a 7 day cruise...

I thought the 4 day one was just perfect for me...I can`t sit still for very long and I need to find something t do and quickly....

When i went it was just DH and me, I know my kids are not the club types so if I ever plan to save and give it another ty, it willbe another 4 day one.

I think that is the way I'm going to go. We really miss going on the cruise, but on the 7 day we were really restless. We aren't sun worshippers and found sitting around really boring. I did a couple spa treatments, but I dunno. I'm with you, back to the 4 day!

My family and I (DH 34, DW 32, DD 5, DS 2) have done the seven day, four day and the three day. We really enjoyed all of the intineraries. We even have a fourteen day planned in August. I have found that the kids were very worn out by the end of the seven day and started to get grumpy. Still Had a wonderful time. So needless to say, for us, the more the better. Plenty of things to do.
