Anyone postponing a September trip???

First and foremost, I send my thoughts and prayers to those in the path of Hurricane Frances. I was just wondering if anyone is planning to reschedule their Sept. trip or if they are waiting to see how this storms pans out before doing anything.
My in-laws want to cancel but I say we wait until a couple of days before to see how WDW is doing - it may be that WDW may need some cleaning up but also may be in need of some tourism - anyone have any thoughts?
And again, pixie dust to everyone there!!!

We were at WDW August 17-25 so we missed Charely. I felt bad for some of the CMs because some of them were understandably preoccuppied with the outside world. I overheard one CM tell another that she had finally been able to reach her parents (this was on the 21st) the night before - her parents live in area severely impacted by Charley. So, just be sensitve and realize that some CM's may be going through all sorts of stuff.

We are still going on the 9th, can't wait just my DH and myself staying at the CBR. I pray that everyone makes it out OK with Hurricane Frances.

We are scheduled to go 9/9 thru 9/16. Still planning to go for now. Hoping Ivan won't cause a threat to our vacation and hoping everyone is OK after Frances hits.

We are leaving on the 15th, and as long as the plane takes off, we will be on it.

We leave on the 17th, just 2 weeks away. I'm hopeful that Frances will have come and gone by then. At this point I can't imagine cancelling, but I guess we will see what the next few days bring in terms of damage and how WDW fares. Pixie dust and Prayers to all in her path!! We're leaving the 20th, I think the odds are definitely on our side that the weather will be OK.

We used to love to go in September because the crowds were at their lowest but in the last year or 2 we went during that time there was always some sort of tropical system hanging around that would just create 1/2 to 3/4 days of rain and we just had enough. It is peak hurricane season and although there aren't always hurricanes..many times there are tropical depressions, tropical disturbances or something like that.

We decided to try October this year which is still sorta during hurricane season so we'll keep our fingers crossed otherwise we'll be doing just our December trip. November is a nice time to go, we went last November. February is my favorite weatherwise but December it's so festive with all the holiday stuff!

So if you have to postpone Sept, try November or December if you can
