I'm in line for Monster Romp behind 85 people. Just wondering if anyone has played this yet, and if there is a chance I will get to play before the good ol' VMK dc. Oh, and what is the prize?

I played the Sock Race earlier today, behind only 60 people and made it all the way through the game, but people were dropping like flies, and most didn't even get a chance to finish the race. -- And then I remembered -- the prize was 100 credits! :rotfl: What a dip, that I stayed in line all that time for 100 credits!

Well then you might want to forget this game. I played it and first prize is credits while second nad third place get zebra pins. Nobody wanted to win the fianl race cuz they all wanted the pin lol

I don't think credits should ever be the prize... unless it's like a thousand credits or something... I'd rather get a pin of any sort, or even some furniture, even cheap furniture... it's more exciting than 100 credits...

Why yes I did! I was one of the first people in the room, but promptly
booted myself into the Tomorrowland Hub by mistake! Gr!

So I immediately found the room again and waited in a 12 person line.
I won the first chair race. The prize was a whopping 100 credits or
a zebra pin for second or third place in the final heat.

I should have thrown the game, but I won both rounds to the tune of 100
credits. Heck, I can win that in a few minutes in Mansion. Grr.

At least now I can say that I not only got to play a staff game, but I won!
Woot. Yay. :rotfl2:

With the Haunted Mansion giving so many credits the staff really need to look at what a good prize is!

If you do the math, there are what something like almost 2 million people registered, there are 2,000 playing at night and the hosts have a game in a room that holds 15 people.

I like that they are advertising the game but that means more people will want to play it.

I look at it like this. You win if you even get into the room. You don't win anything for a prize but you beat in 1,000 other people that either crashed or could not be bothered because they knew they would crash!

I think staff should just give a prize to anyone that makes it into the room lol! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

LOL I did that once- before Christmas I got into one of the staff games and found out that the losing prize was better than winning- I think it may have been the lion pin-

It was so funny- in the first round of the race you had to win- to be one of the three for second round race which would give you a prize- there was one person who either d/c'd or exited on error- that the host at the time said that he would get his prize of the lion pin- well the other guy in the race asked what did winner get- and she said a century of credits- well we both tried to throw the race it was so funny- he clicked somewhere in the middle of the room and I clicked right at the base of the chair- both of us waited to click this first time but he stopped while I was still walking to the chair- I guess he thought I was going straight for the chair because he then clicked to move again and was stopping and then clicked away from chair- he hopped in the chair before he realized that I had thrown the race too

We went to the room through the teleporter and he was like- "I can't believe I win and feel like the loser" lol

That is so silly. 100 credits is definitely a lousy first place prize.

If your pipe dream came true, you would have won last night, as you were
in the third qualifying race right after my first win. :goodvibes

Yes, and it figures that the last time I was able to play this game, the winning
prize was purple doors. If they gave those or something similar, it would
have been a lot more satisfying.

Oh, I lost that race, getting a hyena pin as my "boo boo" prize.

I made it to the game last night. I lost the final round - no I won - I got the Zebra pin. Woot!!!

Heya, heya! I made it into the game twice last night. Lost the first game...I mean REALLY lost...and lost the second game to win the zebra pin! Yay! 100 credits for the winner? No way! Gimme the pin! Hahaha Yes, I too, threw the race to lose and get the zebra pin ;)
1000 credits for the win would be a much better reward for standing in line for nearly an hour before crashing at the start line! LOL
I've played this same game in the past and "won" the Lion pin. I then gave my lion, zebra and toucan pins to my friend's 8 yr old son, who only had a hyena pin. Was it worth it to wait in lines for those pins and then give them away? You bet! Best feeling in the world and I'll do it again in a heartbeat. So, if anyone is wondering if it's worth it to wait in those lines to try to lose...I mean win...a stupid little zebra pin, yes it is! Get that pin and gift it to someone who does not have it. The feeling you get for having made someone happy is well worth the crashing and losing!
