Anyone planting Icicle Pansies?

I planted some last fall, and they did really well. It was a pleasure to see their happy faces in early spring.

I just bought 3 six-packs. I can't wait to see them again in the spring!

We bought some yesterday too, socerormickey!

We bought the clear blue, and the purple splash!

We picked up the Patriot Mix for my Mom!

I hope to get them planted this weekend, but they are calling for rain today and it's already started to sprinkle a bit. Maybe tomorrow!

I'd love to get the red too!!

I see them in the garden centers. Can someone tell me the difference between them and the spring pansies?

Is it their color or the fact that they bloom early? Or is it them are more of a true perennial for us northerners They also do not seem to have that predominate smile face. I just don't see much difference in these and the ones you plant in the spring. I kind of like the spring ones better.

Sound great, don't they? Reminds me of the Christmas rose that blooms late in the season around here. A little color is just what I need!
