Do you know if the older Macs (desktop or laptop) have stop motion software installed or available for purchase? I am looking at buying a used one strictly for this feature. My son is really into making stop motion films but I am not willing to pay full price for a Mac Book Pro for him just yet. He has a PC for online work and Word but Windows Movie Maker stinks. I know the new Macs have some great software for this purpose but I don't know if the older operating systems support this.
