Anyone on the Sept 26, 2004 Wonder??

The latest NOAA tracking is Wed 8AM of the coast of North Central Florida, possibly north of Daytona and south of Jacksonville, but still off the coast. Being one of the ones re-scheduled from the Sept 5 Wonder sailing due to Frances, I hope that Jeanne just stays away from land (Any land that is!!!)

I doubt that any plane is going to have flights going into a hurricane. I don't know what's going to happen to our reservations or how to go about figuring out what to do.

I can't bear the thought of endangering my family by flying into a hurricane.

Just a thought --- Have you looked into flying into Tampa International (TIA), maybe the airline will work with you since the storm will be an obvious factor? It is only about an hour and a half to Orlando from there... I know you might incur extra costs, but it would get you into FL on time and away from the storm. Might be an idea to check on it tho...

I'd hate to see anyone having to cancel (once for some, multiple times for others).

Hurricane Jeanne has been downgraded to a TROPICAL DEPRESSION!!!

5-day forecast shows it dwindling down to almost nothing somewhere in the Atlantic, NOWHERE near Florida on Wednesday!!!

WOOHOOO!!!

Let's board that roller coaster for one more ride!

Kris ~ Keep the faith!

~ I've waited for five years for a cruise.
~ I had this cruise on a 48 hour hold through a TA last October and then canceled.
~ On a whim, I called DCL this August and had another 48 hour hold.
~ We couldn't decide what to do ($$) and I left the hold expire without calling DCL to cancel.
~ After alot of prayers for guidance Three days later I called DCL and asked if I still had a reservation and if I could pay the deposit.
~ The CS representative just laughed and said the computer automatically cancels if no response after the time limit, but she also said she would check to see if there were any cabins left.
~ She couldn't believe that the computer did not cancel my reservation. What a fluke! She even put me on hold to check with her supervisor!

Well ~ we had the reservation, paid the money and we are going!

I really believe that the Lord meant for us to be on this cruise. So I am confident we will sail. Maybe not to the Bahamas or CC, but we will be cruising 26 Sep 04!

I am SO overjoyed right now! Our trip is close enough that it seems that we are going to be in the clear. I don't think there would be enough time for another hurricane to get in our way.

Let's all say a prayer of thanksgiving, as I'm sure many Floridians are doing right now as well!

I just have to say that I hope everyone has a great and safe trip in. I am leaving on my first trip to WDW and on a cruise on Monday morning. I am so excited because I have been waiting thirty something years to go to WDW, I begged my parents to take me as a child and believe me they had the money. Now I will be taking my four kids there and on the cruise. I am fulfilling a life long dream of mine and I now can't even sleep at night. I just want to thank everyone for their help in planning this trip because me or my husband have never even flown on a plane before so we were totally lost planning this trip. Everyone was just so ready and willing to help me with all my questions, I even think I know pretty much now. So, this may be my last time communicating with anyone until at the meet which I plan on attending so I wish everyone a good trip in and I will see you in a week. Thank you!

And then on Monday...let the packing begin!

I just received the lastest issue of Oprah magazine which I have been trying to keep my fingers off -- saving it for the cruise! That is, if I even have time to read

I love to read while cruising. Bought a book just for the cruise. Give me my book, a lounge chair and an icy tropical drink.........ah heaven! I cannot wait!
