I started playing maybe 2 months ago and have breezed through, but now I'm on 165 and I really think the game is playing with me. I think there is some Wizard of Oz behind a curtain deciding who wins and loses, because so much of it comes down to luck of what candies are dropped.

And I really wish I never started playing! All that time wasted... for what??

Oh no! Me too. Friends are even sending me extra moves now, which I never requested. I guess the system automatically requested them for me. Anything to keep me addicted. . .

But, get this, I'm pretty sure that twice I DID remove all the jellies and went way beyond the point goal of (I think) 120,000 points. So, unless the game is "broken" unless I BUY boosters, I should have won those rounds. I think I will take a screen shot the next time I think I should have won.

That's happened to me once or twice as well. How do you take a screen shot? And how do people get those videos of their entire game? And why can't I pass 168? It took me 2 weeks to pass 165, and now 168 is making me crazy.

You make a screenshot on your computer by pressing the fn key (on the bottom row) at the same time as the prt scr (Print Screen) key. This makes a copy of what is currently seen on the computer screen.

BUT, next you have to PASTE it into a program to make it an actual picture. You can do that by pasting it into MSPaint program. Start -> Accessories-> MSPaint. Then save it as a bitmap file on your computer.

Or if you have some type of photo editing program, you can save it as a jpg file.


Third option, if you have a cell phone that takes pictures, just take a picture of your screen when you think you've won, before the game ends.

Just do a Google Search for "Candy Crush Saga Level ___"

There are usually several Youtube videos showing how other people have won, what they hit first, any patterns that may be noticeable, i.e., do you clear the top or the sides first, etc. Or, some people describe tips on blog pages called "tutorials" or "cheats".

Some site named "Bubble Witch" (which is another game) has really great videos. She also has pages for free coins every few days for the Pet Rescue Saga game, that are given away legitimately from other players. I've been able to reload my coins this way for the hammer blaster. She also has videos for the various levels of Pet Rescue Saga.

I have been on 161 for weeks. The frustrating thing is i can get it down to 1. That is what really grinds my gears lol.

Forgot to update yesterday. I finally beat 410. Hooray for the luck of posting on the Dis and then beating the level! This next set of levels sucks big time. There are these tornado things that block you after every move and you can't predict or control where they will go next. So frustrating!
