Anyone know why the bakery is gone at the PBH?

I loved the bakery that the portofino used to have. I know you can get the gelato at Sal's but I still miss the bakery.

I noticed the lines are even longer at Sal's because of this. I ordered a specialty coffee at Sal's and it takes them awhile for them to make it. There was only one person at the counter. I felt sorry for the people behind me who had to wait a long time.

Anybody know why the closed the bakery. I am just curious.

I noticed that the bakery was gone but that they now sell the bakery stuff at Sal's and the little gelateria that is connected to it. In our experience, the bakery was generally empty. Maybe it is just a money saving thing.
