Anyone know of any Sky HD Offers?

I was hoping someone could help....

We have a normal Sky Box, plus Sky+, and when we move we will also need an additional box, so thought we may as well get HD. It still seems quite expensive on the Sky website (£299 for the box, plus £60 installation, then an extra £10 per month subscription).

Is there a cheaper way?

I think thats thier standard installation fee. If you can threaten to leave thier services and you might get a better installation price. This worked for us when we wanted to change from Sky digital to Sky Plus when we were with them. It seems to be the if you say the right words i.e I want to cancel my contract they will throw offers your way to keep your custom.

My brother had Sky installed in Nov. When he rang up to organise it he just asked if they were doing any 'deals' on the HD boxes - they knocked off £100 straight away without any quibbling
