Eh, it's a little more restricted than that. Coffee, tea, soda, water, frozen Coke if the location offers them, sometimes apple juice... not milk, not orange juice. For the most part, beverages that are primarily water*-based and created/regenerated at the resort. You can get any beverage at the resort except alcohol ones
A fountain drink in the parks is $2 (something like $2.09). A mug costs $13. Your break even point will be when you get that seventh drink. For a three day trip, you'd have to have 2.33 drinks per day to hit your break even point.
That's just to break even. Also factor in if you will drink more than that because then you are actually saving money. And factor in that you've bought a souvenir.
The biggest thing I would consider is where you are staying. We have purchesed the mugs all four times we went. The two stays at all-stars and one at pop were worth the money because you walk past the drinks every time you go to get a bus.
The time we stayed at Carribean Beach it was kind of a waste because we get the bus nowhere near the pop machines.
We will be at all-star sports in June and just the coffee alone makes it worth my while! Plus, you have a mug to use forever!
Do they have the frozen slush at all the resorts? I'm staying at POFQ and this sounds yummy!
You can get any beverage at the resort except alcohol ones. I drink 2 cups of coffee in the morning and maybe depending on my day, I may have one late morning. Plus, I take the mug with me to the parks and get ice in it. Any cart, CS place will be happy to give you ice and ice and water if you ask..It was a great help to me..plus, I would add my Crystal Light and I had a "free" drink in the park...I will buy a new one when I go in August..so, for me, it saved me money.
