I read on AllEars.net that Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station and El Pirata y El Perico Restaurante will be closed August 10. (El Pirata will be open during Pirate and Princess Party events). My DH really wanted to try TTNS, it's been closed every time we've been down there. Is anyone at the World now and know if it is still closed??? I would also like to know anyone's opinion on the food too - THANKS!!! :goodvibes

allears is almost always right. I rarely see either open. I like El Pirata well enough (or I did, when I ate there) but have never eaten at the noodle place.

We ate at the Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station in 2004 and weren't thrilled with the quality of our food. We had a much better lunch at Cosmic Ray's. On our most recent WDW trip (7/15-7/21) I only saw the Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station open once on all three of our Magic Kingdom visits.

We just returned about a week and half ago. Every day we saw a sign that said the Noodle Station would open at 5pm that day, but it was not open for lunch. We have eaten there in the past and it was fine, not great, but not icky hot dogs or burgers and fries, so would definitely eat there again if it were open. Unfortunately we were never in the MK at night (well, actually we were eating in resort signature restaurants each night, so that is pretty "fortunate" lol)

I think if nothing else I like the noodle station because they have Sriracha sauce out as a condiment, and I can eat that stuff on anything and everything! Love that stuff! Secret admission: sometimes we just go there to get the sriracha sauce and put it on food from another restaurant. ;)

Do not take this as total fact...but I believe that last year Noodle Station became some sort of Buffet TS to handle free dining. Maybe they have plans to do this again?

Info I found from last year....
From ***************** :

Update: Tomorrowland Terrace Cafe opens Aug 13th

The Tomorrowland Terrace Noodle Station will close on August 11 and then reopen on August 13 as the Tomorrowland Terrace Café, a Table Service restaurant serving a dinner buffet.

The revised location will be open through October 5 (excluding September 2 - 16) from 5 - 9 pm. This location will not offer advance reservation throuh Disney Dining (407-WDW-DINE) but reservations will be available at the Tomorrowland Terrace Café podium as well as the Plaza Restaurant podium.

The menu items will include salads, pastas, stir-fry, desserts and a carving station. The buffet price is $28.99 for Adults and $13.99 for children 3-9.

Thanks everybody...knew I could count on you all! I'll tell DH not to get his hopes up. If anyone has any other info, I'd really appreciate it! :goodvibes

Did you find out if the El Pirate Y El Perico was open? We are going mid september and I was wanting to eat there and All Ears also said they will be closed in august through september for the pirates and pricess festivities. We are however going down after that. Does anyone know if it will reopen to normal hours after the pirates and princess party? I have always wanted to eat there. I tried to call the dining number for Disney and so far no one can tell me wether or not it will be open. Just wondered if anyone else is there or has been there during this time and knows. Thanks

We have been about a dozen times since the TTT took over the space and have only seen it open twice. We ate there the first time and it was the most disgusting, mushy, tasteless food I ever had. The only thing edible were the pot stickers and the flavored ice tea.

We went back a few trips later and it was open so we got the tea but noticed they no longer served the pot stickers

so is there even a place clled the El Pirata Y El Perico still? I think it was supposed to be off of the Pirates of the Carribean ride.

We just got back (it was GREAT, WONDERFUL...I could go on and on). We wanted to eat at the El Pirate Y El Perico during P&PP, but it was closed. We asked a CM (actually the manager of Adventureland for the P&PP) and he stated that it was a misprint on the "treasure map" and that it wouldn't be opened as far as he knew. BUMMER!
