lining the streets for the funeral procession for Ronald Reagan?

I don't think I could stand to see the riderless horse. It would take me right back JFK's funeral. That was one of the saddest things I experienced (via TV ) as a little girl.

No, I'm not going. I have to work!!! I would love to see it but my fears of crowds and traffic gridlock are stronger.

No, we are closing on a house that morning. Dh will see the Him before though; the casket will be at the Capital for a couple of days before and that is where DH works. So he will get there.

I would love to attend, but I'm not sure I want to drag my 4 year old down there in those high crowds. Would be a memorable experience, and a piece of history. DH is off that day, so he may actually go.

i have to work, unfortunately. dh is taking tomorrow off to pay his respects though.
