anyone here do WW without meetings or online?

I like counting points. I find it very fun and challenging. For someone who hates math I thought that was pretty ironic! :)

Calculating points is like a game to me :goodvibes I'm always trying to get the most "bang for my buck"! :rotfl:

Welcome pgsahm2:welcome:

I did not weigh in this morning so I am not sure how it went! I have been cheating all week though:scared: I will weigh in tomorrow morning!

Welcome!

This week was a good one! Lost 2 pounds. Now I have 1 pound to go, to recover from the week I gained 5.

The only thing I did different was that I didn't eat any processed foods except hotdogs. For some reason, i lose weight when I eat a hot dog or two that week, (no bun). I even drank some sweet tea yesterday and a vanilla coke. So I was very happy to see the 2 pound loss.

Great job lovethattink!
I have been doing well with my points- I have been eating lots of sashimi- it is delicious and really low on points but it is so expensive. I haven't exercised this week- feeling guilty/lazy about that.
I weigh-in on Friday.
How is everyone else doing?

I have been bad, bad, bad :sad2: Eating too much junk and not journaling. Today - every bite that I eat WILL be written down and accounted for. I've got to get myself back on track before things go really, really wrong! :headache:

happy, healthy Friday everyone!!! :goodvibes

Good job akaSnowWhite- nip this in the bud.
Good news- another successful week- down another 1.5 pounds. That is 5 pounds in the last 2 weeks ( of course I had 2 months of no loss at all before these 2 weeks)
This is pretty weird because I didn't exercise this week- but I was careful with my points- I ended the week with approx 15 flex points left. I don't know for sure because yesterday I had 2 meals that I didn't have nutritional info on- PTA luncheon for lunch. I stuck with fruit and salad. Then, my 4 year old had pre-school graduation- and the school provided a nice catered dinner afterward. I had 2 finger sandwiches, baked lays and fruit.
I probably came in over my points for the day but I had 23 flex points going into my last day of the week, so I am sure it was okay.

Anyway- to any of you who have past that first stage where you lose 8-12 pounds - and have moved into the stubborn scale stage, where the scale gets stuck (I was there for sooooo long) DON'T GIVE UP! Stick to the program- it works, but it takes time. I am so happy to see the scale moving -finally- after such a tedious stretch!

UGH- I had a bad weekend and my weight is up this morning:mad: I am hoping I can get back in check before weigh-in on Friday am.

How is everyone else doing?

I had a very unfocused weekend. :headache: But we can do this - I know we can. So let's put this weekend behind us and forge ahead :thumbsup2

Happy, healthy Monday everyone! :goodvibes

Week #5 & I only lost 1/4 of a pound! Oh well, it's better than gaining. I knew this would happen eventually. I'm going to try stepping up my activity a little bit. I sit all day at my job so I'm going to take a 10 min. walk at least twice a day. I'll walk after work too when my schedule allows.

Hey a 1/4 lb is good! It is good that you are prepared for the loss to slow down. It can be discouraging after the 1st few weeks where the losses are 2-5 lbs per week, Just stick with it! You will chip away at that weight until you reach goal!

I am up:sad2: ALOT:scared1: 4 lbs:sad2:
I went to visit my DH for the weekend and of course we ate out. We had so much fun but the weigh in when I came back sucked:sad1:

I thought it would be so much easier to lose weight in the summer because we are outside playing every day!
Ohwell here is to a new week!!:flower3:

Hello all! Its been a while since I've posted.

natenapril: Hang in there - you're not alone I've gotten side tracked quite a bit - up 2.5 lbs. Was sick for a while (cold turned to sinus infection) so I didn't work out and that really messed me up. And didn't really diet at all. This week I definitely didn't diet but I've tried to get exercising. So busy towards the end of the school year! Enough excuses - I'll try to get on the tm tomorrow - DH working tonight!

Take care all! I haven't gone back and read all the posts I've missed. So congrats to all that have lost and hang in there to thoses you haven't - me included! :thumbsup2

Onward and downward!
Joanne

hang in there natenapril, we all have our ups and downs (literally) JJ&Jsmom- I know what you mean about the end of the year. Have been SO busy! It is winding down now.
DD had 5th grade graduation today, most of the class went to a celebration lunch after at a nice seafood restaurant. I had shrimp salad sandwich (didn't eat the bread) it came with fries (I ate half) and cheesecake for dessert. I didn't touch the cake, I brough it home for my mom- thank you, thank you- hold your applause:rotfl: yes- I'm very proud about the cheescake.
I had cheerios for dinner. I think I probably came in under points- but I have no idea how many pts was in that shrimp salad/fries.
Tomorrow is my last chance day. Must do good before my weigh-in on Friday.
Have a good day tomorrow, everyone!

I'm proud for you as well. :cheer2: I, however, had a piece of my son's 16th birthday cake yesterday. :scared: And this is no ordinary cake. :cake: It's a decedant creation that I make where I work - chocolate cake, banana cake, peanutbutter cream cheese frosting, chocolate buttercream frosting, chopped peanuts....it's *lovingly* refered to as "gluttony by the forkfull" and the worst part is, the leftover cake is in my fridge calling me!!! :tiptoe:

yikes!

I'm proud of you too - not sure I could do that as cheesecake is my absolute favorite dessert in the world. It wouldn't last long in my fridge! Good job! :thumbsup2

No offense but I'm glad I don't work there :rotfl:! Try to stay busy so you don't hear the cake calling you! Good luck!:thumbsup2

And the rest of the cake is in the fridge here too. Just waiting for lunch! I am going to invite of few of the neighbor kids over though and let them finish it off.
Happy belated bithday to your son!

Weigh-in today- I gained 1 pound. Not very surprised, or upset by it. I think I will have a loss next week.
