anyone here do WW without meetings or online?

Hey all, I'm back from vacation where I managed to gain 6 pounds from not counting points. So far, I've lost 2 of the 6. We went to the Shady Maple smorgasbord twice while we were in PA, all that good food, yum. Also visited Hoss's since we don't have any here in FL.

Congrats to all the losers! Woot!

Looks like i have alot of reading to catch up on.

I'm getting back on the "points wagon" myself. I had stopped journalling and haven't kept close tabs on what I've been eating. popcorn:: That's bad enough itself, but I've also had a real hard time getting quality exercise in since the kiddos got out of school. :headache: I'm starting to see a bad trend here...:eek: SO...today is the day the journal comes back out (and the pencil as well.... ;) )

Ahh! I could have written this post! I am up 4 pounds! OKAY, friends- it is time to get back on track-

I need to get a string of OP days together and get some momentum going. I have just been very lazy lately.

TODAY I PROMISE TO COUNT MY POINTS AND STAY AT 20-22 POINTS! ... AND DRINK LOTS OF WATER.
 

Well - I did it. I kept my appointment with the trainer at the gym. Had my weight and body fat measured. It wasn't as bad as I thought actually. I'm only up about 2 pounds from where I was the last time. BUT - for me, that's not the point. I don't like the trend. I've gotten lazy with my eating habits and my exercise has not been stellar etiher. I just plain feel gross!!!

Party's over for me. I'm going back to the healthy ways! Bye Bye Mike's Hard Lemonade....and Hello Crystal Light! :laughing:
 
Rofl, I'm drinking crystal light right now! I stayed on points yesterday!! Drank plenty of fluids!! Woot, here's to getting back on track. *holds up my crystal light in a toast.
 
I did very well yesterday with my eating- it was around 100 degrees so that helps kill the appetite. Unfortuanately, I will not be excersising in this weather (no AC at my house) Anyway- I am just working toward another good eating day. Good luck to everyone.

Another good day- it is showing on the scale too. I weighin Friday and I have a good chance of getting all this excess off. Hope everyone else is doing well!:thumbsup2

I'm feeling MUCH more in control these past few days. Feels good. :cool1: I always feel crappy when I eat crappy :sad1: but then it becomes this awful cycle of eating to console myself, then feeling WORSE than before! :eek: Now that I'm back on track, things are looking up! :goodvibes

Great weigh-in for me I am back down to where I was- so it really isn't a true loss- but at least I am back on track and there is no lasting damage to worry about.

I need to make a little 2 week-no cheat- challenge for myself- anyone want to join me? I have been in a bad cycle of going off track on the weekends... I feel that I am close enough to my goal that with some tenacity I can get there by the end of summer.

My name is Leanna. I hate trying to join into a thread thats been going for so long, but I definitely need the support. Can I join in? :wave:

I need to lose a total of 90 pounds and I am going to try and do WW on my own. I followed the program about a year ago, so am familiar with it, but I just am not into the meetings. I will weigh myself every Friday.

I really have to get my weight under control. For my health, sanity & happiness. Not to mention, DH and I made an agreement that I can't book my next Disney trip (after our one in a few months) until I lose the weight. Talk about motivation! So, hope ya'll let me join in! I'd love to have a place to talk about my weight loss journey. :grouphug:

Of course you can join- I joined this thread back in January (probably around page 16-17) It has been so helpful for me to have this place to come and document what I am doing. I hope you find it as useful as I have. The people on this thread are encouraging and understanding. It is a great support system.

What program are you using? I am doing WW flex plan, I find it pretty easy to follow.

Congrats on the loss, Tenthousand! I will join you on the no cheat thing til Friday. Then I'm off to another weekend vacation, where I will watch what I eat and TRY not to cheat!

My goal for today is no empty calories! I've already done my toning dvd today and yesterday! The day before that I did alot of walking at Epcot. After we finished our day there, we walked from Morocco to our car, nonstop, and at a fast pace. So that's 3 days in a row where I actually got off my duff and exercised!!!
 
Hi Everyone, thanks so much for the welcome!

I do plan on following the WW flex plan, as it works the best for me.

I got up this morning and did an hour on the treadmill, with about 10 minutes of jogging thrown in the middle of the workout. Definitely felt good! My DH is out of town until Wednesday, so I'm trying to make sure I stay busy so I don't succumb to boredom eating.

Hope everyone else is having a wonderful weekend and taking care of themselves!

I really need to buy that points calculator they have on the WW site. Anybody have or use that? When I'm home, I just use their on-line point tracker tool, which is so easy to use!

Great job! I haven't posted in a while - nothing changing. Still at the same weight - at least I haven't gained. I haven't exercised in quite a while. Hoping to get on the tm today but so far it doesn't look good for that. Keep up the good work.

Congrats on the loss! I am jealous- you are going to SSR- that is our "home" resort. I have only been there once for a short trip- but it is such a relaxing, peaceful resort. We are going back for New Years this year- and I can't wait.

I have 2 of the ww calculators- 1 I keep in my purse, and I keep 1 in my kitchen. I live by that thing. I highly recommend having one. I have calculated points on most things in my fridge/freezer/pantry and labeled the points on all the food packages with sharpie.

I am almost halfway through my 2 week-no-cheat challenge and I am going strong. Have a good day everyone!:goodvibes

If there is anything you think I should know about SSR, will you please pm me. We visited friends who stayed there the year it opened. They had a 2 br villa, we are only getting a studio. I'm so excited to go, I've been packed for days, lol.

I had a small loss today at weigh in. I am happy with it because I used a bunch of flex points last night. I did great all week with my eating, and I only used 16 of my flex points for the week. I don't think I really lose weight when I use all 35 flex pts anymore. I did in the begininng but it is harder now.

Anyway- I hope everybody is doing well- here is a little :wizard: to keep you focussed through the weekend. (Weekends are so hard)
