anyone here do WW without meetings or online?

I have a few errands to run, then I'm off on our vacation!!

I actually prepared food yesterday to take with us. My son has so many food allergies, and I really want to stay on points, so I made some meals to take with us. That is, as long as dh remembers to pack it. He has to work today, so he'll bring the food with him. I'm taking the boys early to go enjoy ourselves!

I did a sneak peak of the scale, and it looks like a 2 pound lost so far this week, so that is certainly incentive not to cheat this weekend. 2 more additional pounds and I'm back at the half way point of 15 pounds down and 15 to go!!

I had an okay weekend- but yesterday I went to a cookout and indulged in a few things I shouldn't have (1 brownie, 1 cookie, 2 chicken wings) but overall I think I still probably came in right around 25 points for the day, which isn't terrible. (I normally shoot for 20) I have 4 more days until our vacation so I really need to be good, it is hard for me to count points away from home, so I am just going to try watch my portions and make good choices while I am away. I want to make as much headway on my weight as possible before I head to the beach on Thursday.

Hi :) We are back from an incredible weekend. I did not count points at all, so we'll see if there is any damage. I'm going to weigh in tomorrow, and am working on a trip report.
 

Great trip report! I am glad you liked Saratoga Springs. My family is staying there for New Years in a 2 bedroom with my parents and my 5 year old niece. It is a Christmas surprise for all the kids.

I lost 1 pound and I am nervous because we are headed to the beach this afternoon until Tuesday. I will try not to eat too much but I can't really count points accurately, we will be eating out a lot.

I gained 2 pounds last week. So I've had work to do this week! Did my toning dvd each day since we are home, and have counted points
 
UUUUUUGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!! I am screwing up so royally! I am at the beach, my sister used the condo right before me and she left me a birthday gift- a box of scrumptious dark chocolate truffles. Well, who I am I to turn away such a thougthful present. Oh man, I am going to be in big trouble when I get home and step on the scale.:scared1: Dag- I was so proud of myself, I only ate 21 points on my actual birthday which was last week.

I haven't posted for awhile, I have been busy planning our trip and planning going back to school full time in Sept. but I am still here and losing slowly. Very slowly...
Since Aug 25th i have now lost 15 lbs. I just went back on the depo shot and am hoping I do not gain from that. I just went shopping for shorts for our trip and am usually a size 12 or a 14 and now I went shopping and the size 12 short fit me and before they didn't. So I had to return them and get a 10 and they fit, but they stretched way too big, so to my suprise I have size 9 shorts and even an 8!!! Yeah!! :cool1: :woohoo:

So here's hoping I continue, I would like to lose another 15 lbs.

I am just trying to watch what I eat. I don't really want to gain on my trip butr looking at the pics on the food thread I think it will be hard. lol

We leave for disney in 2 1/2 weeks. Oh and did I mention I am trying to quit smoking?

I think I need a little :wizard: :wizard: for my weigh-in tomorrow. We had fun at the beach, but I over-indulged for sure. I ate pizza, chocolate, and ice cream... The good news is I have been back on the wagon for the past 3 days so there is my beacon of hope. :goodvibes

Up 1 pound- I am actually pretty happy with that- it could have been a lot worse. I am going back on another 2 week no-cheat challenge. Wish me luck.
 
Hey people- my 2 week no-cheat promise got abandoned over the weekend. But now I am back on track 2 days in a row.

Boo- I am up 1.5 pounds. 2 weeks in a row with a gain. :sad2:

I'm hiding my head in shame. I am up as well, ugh!! My FIL is visiting us. He lost 20 pounds to be able to fit in the airplane seat. He really wants to keep it off, so hopefully together with him, we can watch what we eat. He's visiting us for 10 days.
 
Hey lovethattink! How is the visit with your FIL going? I wouldn't mind having a visit from somebody who would double as a houseguest/diet buddy for a while.

Anyway, I am so discouraged with the way my weight (and behavior) has been these past few weeks. I thought I might try to boost my WW plan with Alli weight loss aid. It is kind of scary stuff that keeps about 1/4 of the fat you eat from being absorbed. You have to commit to eating low fat or you will have yucky, *bathroom related* side effects (trying to be polite here;) ) . I thought I would try it for 3 weeks (one bottle is about a 3 week supply). Now I am reading the literature and it says my BMI is healthy and Alli is not for me. I definately need to lose a good 10 pounds (ideally 20) so I think I may try it anyway. My WW works so slowly- I would just love to give it a power boost.

OK- everybody- I am worried about y'all, wher'd everybody go?

OK- I have been on Alli for 3 days and I have lost 2.5 pounds in 3 days and no nasty side effects. I even ate birthday cake 2 nights in a row. (both nights I ate a really low fat dinner (like 3 grams of fat total) and then I took the Alli pill before dessert.

Other than the birthday cake I have been eating extremely lowfat and even including the cake I have been staying within my WW points. I am glad I have found something to help me focus on my weight loss plan.

Also, I am looking forward to cooler weather and the kids getting back to school so I can get back into a more regualr routine with my walking.

How is everyone else?

I'm doing lousy with weightloss, but doing pretty good at weight finding, lol, UGH!!!

I thought having FIL here we'd watch our weight. Instead I cooked meals every night and ate what I made. I'm sure we both ended up gaining.

I'm so mad and frustrated with myself. I stood on the scale today and am 6 pounds less than my original weight back in January. At one point, I was down 16 pounds. So now I'm back to having 15-20 pounds to lose again.

I need to start keeping track of the points again, and using the online tools that I am paying WW for. Kick myself in the butt, and get moving onward and downward!!
