Anyone have the Tangaroa Terace menu?

ahh..the brain...:confused3
Yes..the cinnamon cake thing sounds interesting. I may have to abandon Storytellers and toddle down past the hat more often.

I'd love to eat here before checking into our good neighbor hotel. Should we park at the DTD lot? Or do they have free parking at the hotel if we stay for a short amount of time?

Thanks.

Park at DTD. I parked in the Simba lot the other night when we went, so if it's open that's a short walk

Yes you can park 3 hours, if Tangaroa partcipates in validating parking like other places you can get 2 more hours free for a total of 5 free hours. This is for the DTD parking.

Just thought I'd add a quick tip:

We were here last Sunday and I just wanted to get some sweet potato fries to go. We were actually sitting over at Trader Sam's enjoying some fruity cocktails and the waiter told me that I could bring the fries over (:confused3) since they weren't on the bar menu. I went over to TT and you cannot order just a side of fries on the touch screen - you have to order it directly from the person you give your money to. It was slightly confusing, and I wouldn't have known they even had the fries if it weren't for the DIS. I believe all sides must be ordered directly from a person because the screen did not have a "Sides" option.

Also interesting to note, I noticed that people were bringing the numbers they give you for your food (like at Panera) over to Trader Sam's and the CMs were bringing the food into the bar (it seemed to be the same group of people - I saw it was the same busboys, etc). This may change, but at least as of last weekend, it was happening (although we waited at the restaurant for our fries and just brought them over ourselves) and might be a good option since the bar food was somewhat limited.

For parking, please note that for both the hotels at DTD it is limited to ONLY sit down restaurants now. :(
