Anyone have the Tangaroa Terace menu?

More specifically, can you tell me how much the Mickey head cakes, the pineapple upside down cake and the Guava cream cheese frosting thing is? We are planning a birthday celebration and think these would make a good substitute to ordering a cake but need to know how much they are first...thank you SO much!

Yes, sorry, but so far I have not been able to find the pricing per each dessert either. Maybe call Disney dining?

The desserts start at $4.99 each.

The Dessert Flight (Three individual cakes) $7.99. The Pineapple Upside Down Cake is $4.99
and the Pineapple Dessert that has the cream cheese frosting, the name if I heard it correctly is Lily Koi, is $4.99.

Your welcome.... my source was a CM at the Tangaroa Terrace via a phone call.

I have to say, I'm pretty disappointed that they'd replace a sit down restaurant like Hook's Pointe which had a dozen entree options and over a half dozen starters with a counter service with only 6-8 different options.

It's been ages since I saw Hook's busy. I think this new retheming will actually be more of a money maker for the resort. It's so pretty over there at night, I love all the tiki torches. Like someone else said, this will get me down there more now.

I am totally looking forward to it too. I wish that a Tiki Room lounge could be located next to The Enchanted Tiki Room too. That would be awesome. DLR seems like a long walk, especially if your feet are hurting.

They COULD do it, since Aladdin's Oasis isn't used for anything anymore. It wouldn't even cost that much for them to do the conversion. They could either keep the stage and do shows or remove it and make more room for seating.

They COULDN'T sell booze though so it really wouldn't be the same.

I like that idea very much. And I second that suggestion.

I don't drink, so for me it would be even better. Personally I don't think they should sell alcohol anywhere in the resort, it definitely can detract from a family atmosphere. At bare minimum there should be a limit per person per day, which can be enforced via id.

We had dinner here tonight. The flatbread minus onion was so yummy. I got the dessert trio and it's not that great. We'll skip it next time. The burger was really good, too.

How was the service? We did take out on Sunday when we were wandering over to check out the new pools. Loved mahi mahi fish and SP fries, flatbread with kailus pork, pineapple muffin and the banana liikoi tart. Don't know whether it was because they were training new CMs or the expeditor was new but the service was slow. I think it's a great addition.

They're obviously new hire CM's. That being said, I think they did very well. I use a special card for discounts showing I'm a CM family and I think the guy was so relieved to see I wasn't a usual guest as he was trying to figure out how to add more to my order. There was no choice on the order screen to omit onion on the flatbread and the chef (who was from Steakhouse 55) went ahead and made me another, said he didn't want me to have to pull them off after I offered to :) I love the real silverware. Talk about something minor that makes a big difference! I'll have to try the muffin next time. The trio was so cute, but the taste just wasn't there.

Even though we had takeout boxes, I loved that they served with real dishes. My DH said it reminded him of Capt Cooks at the Poly. But liked the dishes better than the boxes. The trio was cute, almost got it.
