Anyone have room counts for each WDW DVC resort.

I am looking for room counts for each size and booking category, which has different point requirements (boardwalk standard for example).

I have a spreadsheet, which will calculate the total points for each resort before and after the apparent upcoming change.

I don't think such information exists--at least not in the Internet world. Specifically I have never seen a breakdown of the Preferred vs. Standard view at BWV. The exact makeup of BLT also remains a mystery. Some percentages have circulated (i.e. 19% Standard view, etc.) but we don't know how specific room sizes fit into those buckets. I doubt that it's 19% Studio, 19% One Bedroom, 19% Grand Villa, etc.

One other thing you would have to keep in mind is to normalize your before and after data sets. There are variations each year simply based upon when certain dates fall on the calendar. February 29th adds an extra day every 4 years. Christmas Eve and New Years Eve on a Fri/Sat has resulted in higher annual charts than when they are on weekdays. August 1-15 is all Magic Season but there will be more points in a year when 5 of those days are weekends (like 2009) than when only 4 are weekends.

A direct comparison between 2009 and 2010 won't yield any useful numbers.

The POS makes reference to using a "Base Year" for determining the point values. The base year is supposed to minimize the number of holiday weekends in the calculations. It's probably a lowest-case scenario. Any revisions in the point charts would use the same Base Year to determine the values for each season. Then you plug those values into the actual calendar and you get what we were presented with for 2010.

Not to mention how do you figure it out for a two bed lock off. Does DVC count it as separate since the point total is higher than a one bed + studio.

Yes I am aware that you have to compare the charts as if they are occurring in the same year (technically it chould be done in the year that the resort sales opened).

The question about lockoffs has always been a question as to whether DVC sold points based on lockoff numbers or 2br numbers or some proportion. I was going to run it both ways which would finally answer that question,

I have seen these details for some resorts posted before but just cannot find them.
