I am a size 26/28 and I was wondering if anyone else out there this size has had any problems fitting on any of the rides at Disney or Universal?? I know sometimes the roller coasters can be tight.

I am 6'2" 315lbs. I don't have any problems at disney, space mountain is awkward to get into but not really tight. Universal can get a little worse, at the studios you should be fine, at Islands of Adventure you will be fine on the normal rides and the coasters have seats that are slightly larger in some of the rows, just request it when you are in line. They also have trial seats at the ride entrance to check if you fit before you wait. The only one I don't ussually go on is Doctor Doom at IOA, the seats are a little tight at best and for that type of ride I don't feel safe enough. hope that helps.

I don't think you should have any problems.

When I went in January of 2002, I was a size 54 and didn't have any problems fitting into any of the rides.

Check out Walt Disney World at Large for a lot of helpful information regarding ride capacities/restrictions.

Supposedly, you might have a problem fitting into the new Mission:Space vehicles, but I can't speak definitively about it.

Have a great trip!

Just don't try the rockets at MK. Even small people have a hard time climbing into and out of those, especially if you squeeze two people into your rocket.

Yes, the Astro-orbiter can be tight! DH and I made the mistake of squeezing into one of them, and we looked like fools when we tried to pry ourselves out! LOL I thought my legs would be jammed in there for good.

My mom and I rode in a rocket together, and we couldn't get the seatbelt on. I was surprised that the CM didn't even seem to care if we put it on or not, but it must have been because she knew there was no way we were going to fly out of that rocket as crammed into it as we were! That's one attraction I won't be riding again, but we wanted to try once.

I don't really have any problems except for the long legged variety I am 6'0. I have a few bits of advice. If you go on the Rock and roll rollercoaster sit in the front seat of the car. Each car section has two rows and the first one is easier to manuever your legs. Also works for Space mountain sit in the front of either rocket. At Islands of Adventure if you go on RipSaw falls (the water ride) do not sit in the front of the car. I could not get my legs out without a lot of struggle and they had to divert the next few cars. The CM at the bottom said that they should never have put me in that seat at the loading dock, because of my height.

I am about 5' 11" and 265 lbs. I have never had any problems fitting into any rides. I have seen people much bigger than me also riding with no problems. As for M:S, large people have no problem riding it. After you get settled in, the panel moves in VERY close from the front, but it doesn't matter how big you are. It is close for everybody.

6' 6" here and pushing 60 so not as 'flexible' as some of you youngsters, LOL. I am able to ride everything I have wanted to at WDW, have not tried some of the kiddie rides though.

Hello Everyone! I am 5'8", 280 lbs., and I seem to not have a big problem on the rides, but I always feel like I'm not secure. Sometimes I think 'Is the bar going to release cause I'm too big?' on certain rides. But, then some people who are bigger than me ride it and their just fine! So I guess in reality it is safe.

Can anyone tell me if a 6'7" tall guy can ride Mission Space? I found the highth restrictions for it but it just gives a miminum only. Hate to get there and see I am to tall...smjj
