I have a murder mystery game (kit) that I am more than willing to send to you. I have NEVER opened it. It's called HOW TO HOST A MURDER and the episode is: THE WALL STREET SCANDAL. Just let me know if you'd like it. PM me with an address and it's yours! :teeth:

"How To Host....." are the best!
I have hosted about 20 or so.
Great fun!! It's been a few years but it was so much fun to do and everyone had a great time!

:bounce: :Pinkbounc

You have just made me so happy!!

PM sent.

i just went to my first murder mystery party! we had a blast!!! it was a little intimidating at first, but once we got settled and figured it all out, we had a blast! i think ours was the chicago caper one...

my co-worker is the one who hosted this one. he and his wife have done numerous murder mystery parties. it's great fun to dress up as the character and to interact with everyone else. it got confusing at times, but it was still fun...

we're going to host one soon too! keep us posted on how yours goes!

These are the most fun dinners!! Our last hosts dressed as Butler and maid just in case on of their guests couldn't make it and they could fill in at the last minute. I was the murderess last time. I played a 1920's actress who, come to find out, was a former porn star who slept with the man I ended up killing. Pretty funny. You never know the twists or turns. have a great time!!!

Ok, I don't know about these, but would love to host/attend one. Tell me more!!!!

I've hosted a couple of these. They are so much fun! We did them with full dinners and drinks so we hired a couple of teens to set the table, serve the food, load the dishwasher, etc. Well worth the $.

Oh Lewski709 this would be right up your alley! You buy a kit that explains everything on how to host a murder party. Usually you have to invite about 6 people or so depending on the kit. You send them an invite with a description of the character you want them to portray. They must come to the party in character and dress ready to play the game. They are given clues thru out the night either on tape or thru cards to tell them the twist. Always something related to their character-like mine above. At first I thought I was just a 20's actress, then came clue two when I found out I was a former adult star, then so on. Now there are differnet kits and can't remember what ones that I participated in, but you'll have fun. But always remember to have a back up plan in case someone can't attend at the last minute. You need all the players to play. You do not always have to serve dinner. I have a kit that takes place on an island and may do a pig roast type dinner. or O'derves work too. I'm sure Merriweather or Scarlett can help you with some other questions. You'd love it. Loads of fun!!

Singles or couples or whatever? Sounds like fun. I would drive an hour to attend one, if someone in the area of me is planning it? ::yes:: I am a fun catch!

Those are fun games! I helped plan one a long time ago. We had the full dinner, ate on china, had the crystal and silver out. It was at a mansion in England. That's all I remember. My husband was a golfer. I believe I was an actress. There was also a doctor and a secretary.

Oh, wait, let me pull out the picture! Three of us girls were dressed up in long dresses. One of the guys was in a suit. And one guy was in shorts with suspenders. Don't remember what he was.

Anyway, take pictures. They are fun to look at! And you don't have to have just couples, singles are good too.

The set will give you menu and costume ideas. Also a layout map of the murder scene.

Hmmm, I might have to do a another one sometime soon.

Kirby, sounds kile the one I was in. Were you a former porn star or adult actess or prostitute?? I was one of the above. I think my dh was a doctor too. Can't remember now. But ours was a mansion in England too. And I do remember I was an American actress. Fun!

This sounds like great fun! I think my IL's would love this. I will have to look into it. :)

I have had several and my daughter and her boyfriend have had three this year.

I think for a beginner the "How to Host a Murder.." party kit is the easiest to understand and follow.

Be sure and go all out with clothing, food, decorations etc to set the stage.

Lots of fun.

I'm not real sure. I know that I was the most dressed up with lots of costume jewelry and a feather boa. And I think that I was promiscuous and flirted with the other men. The character I played was totally opposite of the way I am in real life. It was funny and a challenge to play.
