DW and I are meeting an old college friend of her's and her family along with another couple from Jan. 4th-8th. There will be 9 of us total.

I'm going solo from Jan. 3 - 13 (though first days will probably be in Sarasota) and still have some days with no meals booked. Also have nothing planned for an evening at Downtown Disney. Let me know if you plan a trip to the clubs (Pleasure Island) one night as I'd like to tag along.

Anne's Family - War Eagle! from the land of the Tigers. We are staying at AKL Jan 5 - 12. We've scheduled the Sunrise Safari for 1/6 and the Segway Tour in Epcot for 7:45 on 1/7.

rigs32 - We have a reservation for Boma (we're on DDP) for 4:50pm on 1/5 (the day we arrive). It's for 3 and we had one of our party cancel 2 days ago. If you'd like to join us, I'll keep the reservation as is.

tatania - Did you hear back about about Pleasure Island? We'd be interested in meeting up with a larger group, too.

I've got to call Disney and cancel a package for 1 and revise our reservations for Artist Point, Kona, and Grand Floridian Cafe and for the Sunrise Safari and the Segway Tour and will probable cancel Coral Reef and Biergarten. Hope I can find replacements for the 2 I'm cancelling.

tatania - Did you hear back about about Pleasure Island? We'd be interested in meeting up with a larger group, too.

I didn't hear back but will PM the poster right after Xmas. In any case, we could meet up for a night of club hopping at Pleasure Island. I just have to call ADR because I can't read my own notes anymore and am not sure what nights I've got dinners booked. I'm pretty sure Thursday Jan. 10 and Sat. Jan 12 are free though.

We're going the 31st of January through the 4th of February. I'll be playing "Tour Guide Mike" because it's my dozenth trip and DH has never been! Parents are also bringing DLB (little brother!) and his best friend for their senior trip.

Even though there's 6 of us, we'll probably pair off. Still, I can't imagine it'd be very much fun to go it alone - is there some special "magic" I'm missing?

I have nothing planned for the 6th so would be happy to come and join you for Illuminations. I'll probably skip the dinner part because I've been to that restaurant a lot and want to try some new places. I'll PM you with a link to my picture so we'll recognize each other.

Any soloers up for some partying at Pleasure Island - either on Thursday Jan. 10 or Sat. 12. Thursday would be better for me as I fly our early on Sunday morning but I've pulled all-nighters a few times so could manage Sat.

I know what you mean. I stay away for a couple of days and look at all the plans that were put in place while I was gone. It sounds like the front row at the castle lighting on Sat. will be full of solo women with their cameras! I will be the one using my cell phone to send a picture to my sister-in-law who is also a hugh Disney fanatic. She is pea green that I am going by myself. I promised lots of pics.

I will plan on meeting Anne and everyone else around 7:30 at the Cantina on Sunday. First person there gets a large table!!! I am technically illiterate enough that I don't how to post a picture. Anyone wants to give me a crash course with 5 steps or less, I will be happy to try. Otherwise I have seen Anne's picture so she is who I will be looking for.

I have solo ADRS for every night but Sunday. If anyone wants to join me it shouldn't be hard to make a solo reservation into a two. Saturday is Flying Fish, Monday is Artist Point, Tuesday is Jiko, Wednesday is Citrco's and Thursday night is in my kitchen ! I have been to all of these before, except Jiko, so I absolutely want to go there. Beyond that I am flexible if there is a group going elsewhere.

I would love to go to PI, but I am leaving on Thursday. If it gets scheduled before then, count me in.

Sounds like we'll have a nice little get-together.. and a bunch of us on the same schedules. I also don't know how to post pics on these boards... but I'm running out to Home Depot today to pick up my LGMH... which I'll have hung on my "trip bag" that I'll have with me in the parks.... and I'll keep an eye out for Anne's Family.
I'd love to do a P.I. meet-up sometime (I'll be in the area on the 8th) as DH isn't a night-club fan either and I can never get into the Adventurer's Club w/ him, but I'm leaving the 9th.. so I'll miss anything on the 10th or 12th also.
