Anyone Go to DVC Beach Bash @Typhoon Lagoon?

Just wondering if anyone went to the DVC Beach Bash at Typhoon Lagoon. We have reservations to go in Aug and I was wondering what to expect or what was good- any tips?

We plan on driving so we will not be using the transportation.
