Anyone go the First Week in May?

I was wondering if anyone new what the weather and crowds were like in May. Thanks for the help.

Hi TinkHappy - it is the perfect time to go. We always go the end of April, the first part of May. The weather and the crowds are great. Except last year was the exception. It was hot and humid. That like I said that was the exception. Good time to go. You will enjoy it.

I was there in May 2000 and it was wonderful, the weather was about 85-90 degrees and sunny the whole time. It never rained once. The crowds were not that bad, we always used the fastpass when we could. I think the longest wait we had was 1 hour and that was for the flying dumbo ride. Kids are older now and we wont be doing that this year. I will be there this year from May 7-13th.

We too were there the last week in April through the 1st couple days of May in 2000 and 2002 and last year was hot. Crowds are light and the weather is warm to enjoy swimming at night. Last year became rough but the pool solves all problems.
Right now I will take anything over this snow...

I went the first week last year and the second week the 2 years before. Temps were 90-95 each year but no rain. Crowds were low to moderate.

I can't imagine now what it's like to be hot.

We will be going May 5th-15th. 2 Years ago went went during this time and it was great. Basically no lines ( except Dumbo) , no rain and sunny! It was a little hotter than we were used to in May coming from Ohio but hot is better than cold.

hi: we love the first 2 weeks of may for the weather and low crowds. we've gone during this time frame over a half dozen times over the years. it's one of our favorites. you'll have a wonderful time. enjoy!

We go the first week of May every year. This year May 3-17. Crowds are moderate, lots of school groups (Music Days). Perfect weather (a little hot), but my most favorite time to go. With Easter being last April this year, I am preparing for heavier than usual crowds. Like us, lots of folks try to avoid Memorial Day, so that only leaves a 3 week window for US May visitors. Still won't change my plans at all!

Thanks everyone for your quick responses!!! First week of May it is!! I made our reservations for May 4th - 9th. A short but much needed break from all this SNOW!!!

Perfect weather. Light crowds (after spring break and before summer vacation).

I go the first week of May just about every year for the last 10 years. I can tell you that it is a very good time of year to go. The crowds are moderate to low, the weather is terrific, the flower show is in full bloom at Epcot, ride rehabs are scarce, etc, etc.
I would say you should go during that week.
