Well, my Lost friends, how are you feeling at this point of the season? I am getting a wee bit frustrated. I feel like I have watched for two seasons and there are no answers to anything. Just more mysteries. When I log onto EW.COM, the site for Entertainment Weekly, they talk about the answers being in some obscure science fiction novel, or Victorian mystery book. About planetary theories, etc.

Look, I'm a busy mom who just wants to sit down at the end of the day and watch an intelligent show that I don't have to work TOO hard on. I do not have time to search science or Victorian novels for my answers.

Anyone else getting frustrated?

My dh has been trying to get me into it, and I tried but I don't get it. I just can't get into a show that seems to have no point to it!

See, I LOVE the show, but wait for the DVD. I can't stand this show the way it is presented on TV.

Do you want all the answers already? If they explained everything now what would be the point in watching. You don't need to research every little thing in the show. My wife watches and has no idea about the little hidden things. I like how they give us a few answers, and more questions. If you think the last season ending was big wait for this one..

I like it just as it is personally. I find the ever increasing mystery of the island more compelling all the time.

Plus Sawyer gets better and better looking too. ;)

No, I don't want to know EVERYTHING, just a little carrot or two. Okay, maybe I do have trouble with surprises. I just feel like there are more and more ?S and no ansers. You know how desperate housewives will resolve something and move on? I like that. Is that so wrong?

I read that someone waits for the DVD. Does that really make a difference? Is it much different than what you see on TV?

Yup, I stopped watching it. Maybe someday I will watch teh whole thing on DVD.

My DH is still watching, I keep asking him if they are still Lost or it's all just a dream? LOL
So, this past week he said maybe I was right & it is all a dream.

The show irritates my DH, but I love it. I like to make up my own theories about what is going on, and take the little clues from each episode. When is the next new episode, anyone know?

I do agree, they don't seem to resolve much. Too often then answer something with a new question. I'm still hooked though.

The show is the same. But I can take a 3 - 4 hour block at one time to "get into" the show. The week to week stuff is to hard for me to wait for. So, I watch the whole season in one week.... usually on vacation.... like I did with 24 and Lost, last season.

SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Dh doesn't know that I secretly am loving Sawyer ;)

No, I'm also a fan of Invasion (that hasn't been on in like a month) and Prison Break (wasn't on for like 2 months)..... I fill my time with the sites (and threads) that provide new info.

They also have been taking too much time between shows, and it gets confusing or I was forgetting when new episodes were on.

That's one thing. I wish they would just hvae a longer break and show the episodes in long runs. I don't like this episode, break, episode, break stuff.

I don't either and they are doing it with a lot of shows this season. I really get out of the habit of watching when they do that.
Remember the old days when they ran 13 episodes in a row, then repeated in the summer?

I know! I know that the "season" is longer, but why don't they split the season up into 4 or 5 "runs" and then in between runs re-air the episodes?? It's seems like they've been showing one or two episodes, then doing a re-run. Also they don't publicize the schedule much -- I'd love if it ABC.com would just list something you could printout that would list all the episodes for the year.

I'm frustrated in that ABC can't seem to keep the show on the air consistently. It is like you get two new episodes and then have to go two or three weeks until another new show airs. And they've done this ALL SEASON LONG. I think they are taking their viewers for granted after the initial success of the show. If they aren't careful people are going to become extremely disinterested with the on again/off again nonsense. I'd hate to see the show cancelled because frustrated viewers have lost (no pun intended) interest. I'm having trouble remembering plot lines.

I'm getting frustrated with the show a bit, though I still love it.

I think they need to throw us a little bone-- just give us an answer to any of the mysteries they've thrown out at us! It's the having no answers to anything that annoys me.

Also, it's really hard to keep all the back stories and the character connections and everything straight when they keep going 2-3 weeks in between new episodes.
