Anyone getting any good October rates?

Has anyone gotten any good rates for October yet? Of course all I can find is rack rate for the Disney Resorts. Last year we booked mid-August for October, and paid $189 a night for the Beach Club. Any idea when discounts will come out, or any projection of what the rates would be? Any suggestions for moderate or deluxe resorts? (I have no idea where to stay! Maybe AKL, or YC, or CSR - I don't know!)

We are also interested in resort discounts for October. We just got back from 6 nights at the AKL, and can't wait to go back. We will probably try the Wilderness Lodge, but the $239 regular season rack rate is too high.

I think it is way too early for anything other than AAA or a DC discount. Not even sure if DC has discounts on rooms only this year? But you can always book what you want and change the rate once codes come out.

I have DC rates booked for the end of Sept/Oct (room only) for the Poly & YC. Nothing grand, I'm holding out for codes or AP rates.

I booked 9 nights for POR for October, and with a AAA discount, I am paying $133.00 per night. That is tax included. I thought that was a decent rate. Never been to the POR, but have read a lot of positive things on it.

Right now I'm looking at AKL's $239 standard room, however, it's a little pricy for what we'd get. Hopefully we can get a good price at the Yacht Club.

What do you all think, CSR at $144 for AKL at $239?

For debra1970...............We are paying $118.00 per night including tax at the PO-FQ hotel Sep. 30 for 7 nts with the DC discount!

I reserved 7 nights at POR for $118.64 per night 11/13/03. I have my fingers crossed for a great discount so I can split my stay between POR and a deluxe resort. I am hoping for CR or POLY. Anyone stay at either resort Nov. 2002? If so, what rate did you pay?
