Anyone file their taxes yet?

We haven't filed yet, but everything, except our 1098, has been entered into TurboTax. Hopefully, we'll receive our 1098 within the next week or so.

Well I got my email from HRB today saying that my refund was sent to the bank, now I just have to wait for the bank to post it :(

this is the worst part!! we are right there with you..... I called two different branches of my bank today trying to get a clue of when it will be posted but no luck..... hope yours comes soon!!

I filed on 1/27, the were excepted 1/28. I went to Irs site and it said i would get my refund 2/10?? The schedule says that it should come 2/6... Do you really think I would get it on a Wed.?

I will keep my fingers crossed for you! I'm worried since I had the loan from HRB back in November and had the amount taken out of my refund. So now I worry that its going to take even longer to get my money back. Its been several years since I have done direct deposit so I don't remember how it works and how long it takes!

I was wondering this too! I hope it is 2-6! I was thinking maybe 2-10 ment that it would be there BY 2-10? I can hope right?

I did the same thing - filed last night and also received the same email with the 2/13 date...

I filed and was accepted last Saturday (1/24) thru Turbotax. Money was in the bank friday (1/30). I know I should get less withheld, but we got back $7900. Planning a Colorado vacation this summer and going to buy some stocks with the rest.

We did a bet better than we hoped and they did our dd17 for free, which was nice of them. We had just brought her W2s because she worked several jobs and we had a few questions. He handed it to one of his interns and then when they brought it back, he checked it over and said it was free.

Just glad it's all over and we can relax a bit.

Has anyone had this problem?
I e-filed my federal return thru the IRS website (thru one of the free online tax programs). I submitted it Wednesday, logged in to check on it on Thursday, and it had been rejected. I reviewed and reviewed and reviewed, but can't find out why it was rejected. So I looked over it again, and re-submitted it. That was Thursday afternoon. So, far, my status is just "submitted" (at least it wasn't rejected this time (yet). In the meantime, I filled out the 1040 on another free efile website supplied by the IRS. Got the same end result for the refund. Wish I had found that program first ( tax act) so, so much easier. Stay away from 1040now.net....it didn't prompt with any questions, so was much more difficult to fill-out (and I always file my own taxes).

Anyway, my question is...for those who e-filed --- did anyone get a "rejected" message..and if so, was your second attempt successful? :confused3

If it rejects again, I'm going to submit the return thru tax act. I'm hoping it will be more "user friendly" in pin-pointing the reason for rejection.

TIA. I just want my money!!!!!!!!

make sure you SS# is right.. happend to me once and your birthday too!

Murphy's Law! Not even 5 minutes after I posted my question about rejection from the IRS, I receive a notice that my Return's been accepted! :cheer2:

Weird. I didn't make any changes at all (I searched and searched, but couldn't find any problems). I'm wondering if the IRS rejected it the first time, simply because I would have been on the Feb 6 auto refund cycle -- now, I'm on the Feb 13 auto deposit cycle... :confused3

Doesn't really matter if I get the money on the 6th or the 13th (it's just going into savings anyway) -- I just wanted it -- KWIM???

I went through Turbo tax and it was a painfree process and it only cost me 25 bucks for the state return. I'm expected to get my money on Feb 6th!

did ours thru turbotax IRS accepted on Jan 25 and it is already pending for Feb 3 into our bank account. To think that I used to have HR Block do mine and pay them close to $200........

I am a first time do-it-yourselfer and have a few questions.

I am using TaxCut online. Will I have to send my W2's in anywhere?
Also-how is your payment for the service handled?Does it come out of your refund amount or do you pay with a CC ?

Thankyou in advance to you all knowing tax gurus :worship:

Whenever I have done taxes on my own online I have had to send in copies of W2ss with a signed paper (or something like that) into the IRS office allocated for my state.

The only thing is the past I ever had to mil in was form called OLS or something like that. I do mine on taxact every year. This year it said we are not longer required to mail anything in at all.
