Anyone file their taxes yet?

We filed on 1/27, got accepted same night. It says I should have my DD on 2/4, which is tomorrow. I can't believe that it is, but I really hope so.

I'm in NY and on the NY status page it keeps saying check back in a week. Mine was accepted on 1/23.

Still waiting on my federal though too. That site still states mine WAS deposited on 1/30. I did not get it, and today is the first day they state I can call about it. So, I will be on hold w/ them today, because I do not have it in my account.

I bet for those of us who have to pay this year OUR checks will be cashed quicker than the time you are waiting to get your refund deposited.

I checked my online banking and my federal tax refund is there. WooHoo!!!!!! Hope you all get yours soon. Mine was expected today, but since it is a Wednesday, I didn't expect it until Friday.

We filed Thursday night and our state was in the bank this morning. Waiting on federal.

I don't "need" the $$$ by any certain date, but it's the idea that it's there floating around and we have to sort of guess what day it will really come. I guess after 2/6 comes and goes then I will know that 2/10 is the real date. I just thought that going by the irs schedule I should have it 2/6 but the where is my refund is telling me 2/10.

I did mine through turbo tax and the refund was to be put in santa barbra bank and then depoisted in my account the IRS'S web site says it will be in by the 10th. But the Santa barbra banks page now says:The IRS did not deposit funds to your account as originally expected. The IRS usually makes refund deposits within 9 to 16 days, but your deposit was not received within that period of time. At times the IRS will delay a refund deposit by one week, so you may check back at this site seven days from now. If no deposit is made by then, you should contact the IRS. For more information on the status of your refund, we recommend you visit the IRS website at www.irs.gov and select the "Where's My Refund?" link. Thank you. Does anyone else see this

I am hoping the 6th also. Have we heard of anyone actually getting it on Tuesday?

I filed 1/22 and should of been the 6th but is now showing the 10th also.

I have some bills to pay and I will actually be happy to cut those checks for once lol

What does where's my refund say?

I got this last week too. However, the IRS website still says I did in fact get mine deposited on 1/30 and that I could call as of 2/4 to check on the status if I do not receive it by then. Now I'm just trying to find the # that will actually get me through to a person. I keep just getting transferred to the refund hotline which is only automated.

Well, cannot get through to the IRS to save your life. Santa Monica Bank- insists it was not received. Just aggrivating that the website says it was in fact deposited. I've never had a problem using Santa Monica Bank in the past.

This is the message I get when I go to the Where's My Refund site.

We have received your tax return and it is being processed. Unless we find mistakes or you owe other taxes, you should receive your refund by February 10, 2009.

I filed on Jan 26th at about 11 at night and they were accepted in the early morning hours of January 27th. Has anyone that has had their direct deposit delayed talked to anyone at the IRS? I am terrified that I somehow made an error and I won't get my refund because they will find some mistake.

I really hope it comes on Friday because I am having a hysterectomy on Tuesday and I have to prepay 35% of the procedure. This is pretty much an emergency surgery so there is no putting it off if the refund isn't in my account on Friday. I live in California so we are just being told they have no clue when we will get our state refunds.

I called the number above that i posted and was told that they were having computer problems earlier today but in fact it showed on her screen that it was to be direct depoisted into the account on friday the 6th
