Anyone experience customs/connecting return flight in Montreal?

Help…Please!
We are returning from Orlando to Halifax via Montreal in October (a Thursday @ 4:30pm). We have an hour & 20 mins to clear customs and make our connecting flight to Halifax so any details to help us get through this quickly are greatly appreciated!

Wayfinder takes me just past the 2nd customs check point in Montreal but after that …nothing. Where do you go to make a connecting flight? Up a level? Is there a quick baggage drop for connections? Is there another security check? Do you have to enter the main concourse and basically start all over as domestic?

Sorry, we don’t fly often and I find knowing the little details can really make a difference!

Don't know but I'll be watching for an answer. We're making that same connection on Thur. Nov 15. I've done it before but don't remember much about it.

We're doing Halifax to Orlando via Montreal on Friday. If I remember I'll post my thoughts. Anything is better than going through Toronto!
