I get motion sickness very easily on Planes and on
Rides at WDW and was wanting to hear from
anybody on how these Relief Bands work?

These are not the cheap motion sickness bands that
are an elastic band with a button but these are the
ones that were created for Pilots who have motion sickness
and they are very expensive.
The band have a pluse that block the message to
your brain about motion sickness.

I have ordered one off of the net and want to know more
about anybodys experiance with it.
I appreciate your feedback on this product.

I used the motion sickness bands found in the pharmacy section of KMart..they worked great. Only had to use them one night (first night of first cruise) until I got my sea legs.

i have one and used it on a cruise and amusement park rides--it does work--you might need more of the gel stuff. it sends a tingling sensation into your hand--this feels weird but it works.

How much of the gel does it take for one application?

no much but if you shower, swim, sweat etc you mus reapply--also depends on how long your cruise is. . .

Is the tingling sensation really noticable even at the #1 setting?
What setting did you have to put yours on?
thanks

if i remember right (i haven't used mine in a couple years), you are to "dial it up" so you can feel the tingling sensation. it's not painful, but noticable and i would rather be tingling than sick! i'll use it again in august for our transatlantic crossing!!!

My DH used his on our first cruise and it worked. You only use a dimes worth of gel, but you might want to buy an extra tube. Thanks for the reminder. I should check the batteries.

I got a RELIEF BAND and used it for my last Plane flight
and it REALLY WORKED!!!
I can't belief what a diffence it made to my trip.
I was about to purchase Plane tickets 2 weeks before my
trip to New Orleans but unfornately the plane was almost fully packed
only seats that were left were the 2 last rows on the plane.
I worryed about that because that is double rough when it
comes to motion but the RB came thru for me and I really enjoy
my flight for the 1st time ever.
I will definately be using this for my upcoming trip to
WDW for some of the rides that I always pass up.:thumbsup2 :yay: :yay:

I haven't tested it on a cruise yet but can say it did work on a "road test" of amusement park rides. I was surprised.

I used one for my morning sickness and it seemed to help. I kept mine on 3 or 4 and could definitely feel the tingling but like the PP said it was better to feel the tingling then to feel nauseated.

I have a few for sale in my ebay store now actually. (Am I allowed to post that?) My ebay ID is the same as my DIS ID.
