Just wondering if anyone has ever been able to book a Poly Concierge room with an AP discount or a AAA discount? Or does Disney not offer discounts on that level room?

If so, what time of year did you get it and what was your discount?

Thanks in advance. :goodvibes

We had GVC with AAA rate at the Poly last December, the 18th-27th. It was quite a deal, since the 19th upped to holiday rates, and we paid for the lowest season, since we checked in on the 18th!

We did the Poly Concierge in January on a AAA discount. Sometimes you can't get it because there are a limited number of rooms that is set aside for AAA. Good luck, Jay

Yes, last year both GV and LV concierge were offered at AAA and AP rate. We stayed GVC March '05 and were fortunate enough to take advantage of a general public room code (but these codes seem to be few and far between these days), so didn't need AAA or AP.

For our May '06 trip, there were no concierge rooms offered at the AAA or AP rate -- although they offered us rack-rate. No thanks, we wound up having a lovely time in our GV non-concierge room (Tokelau 3rd floor) at the AP rate. Believe someone did post that for similar dates, they got an AP rate, so I guess it's just the limited number of rooms. Again, for us, we are totally happy that we paid for a regular room at the AP rate (I recommend trying the concierge once, but not twice).

Tokelau, garden view, 3rd floor (near the beach end on pool side) is actually the type room I requested for our trip next April. I was wondering about the AP/AAA rate just in case some extra money became "available" Because I would love to try concierge but I just can't justify paying rack rate. We are planning on spending alot of time at the resort for a leisurely trip and I know the breakfast and afternoon/evening offerrings would be a great treat. Our trip a few weeks ago was nice but we spent most evenings eating in our room as my autistic DD(5) doesn't do well at TS restaurants and we had no balcony so it felt confining. We are looking forward to a balcony and a different room service menu at the Poly (CR's room service food was OK but a little bland for my taste).

Thanks for the info everyone :goodvibes

Yes. We got LVC last year at the AP rate.

I don't think they release that many because I called within two hours of when the codes were release and there was nothing available at the Poly LVC. However, a few days later, one open up and I got it. Saved a bundle.
