Anyone ever done Letter Stuffing??

I have seen several things on here about Secret Shoppers and Store Resets. But never heard of anyone doing letter stuffing. If so do you have any contacts? All the ones I seem to find you have to pay a fee.

All of the letter stuffing projects I have heard about have been scams. You pay the company a fee, then they send you a letter trying to entice people to start letter stuffing. You put those letters in envelopes and mail them to people you know and there's your letter stuffing. In today's world, there is no need to have people stuff envelopes at home. A mailing house can stuff letters much more efficiently and quicker with a machine than someone could at home.

I don't know anything about secret shoppers, but others have posted before that they do it and it is legitimate.

Many Many years ago, my mom got into this. We kids had to help her stuff. It was NOT worth it. She got very little out of it for the amount of time spent. Luckily, we only did the one mailing that I can remember. She must have been able to opt out without problem. Don't do it.

Secret shopping, store resets, book reviews -- Don't pay any money up front. Period.

Never send a stranger back the change if they send you too much money for something for example an eBay item. Reject the PayPal payment (not with a send money maneuver) or send back their check asking for the correct amount. There are a lot of frauds out there and the check they sent you bounces long after you sent back change.

One of my jobs was working in a mailing/shipping place. We did a lot of large inserting jobs. (we had folding machines, but not an inserter, so all our inserting was done by hand). Although I got fairly good at stuffing envelopes, it's really a mundane, repetitive task, and there's no way to make it interesting.

Never tried one of the "make money from your home stuffing envelopes" things ... never had any interest in doing it.
