I am considering adding on points using Timeshare Store and am interested to hear your experiences, good and bad, of using them! How simple is it in comparrison to doing it directly with Disney? We will be buying from England, anyone ever used them from outside the US?
Thanks

I bought my last resale from the Timeshare Store and had a great experience. It went really smoothly. All the paperwork came through the mail, went back through the mail, and I was able to make reservations quickly. Good luck with your new purchase!

We purchased our initial contract from the Timeshare Store. We had a great experience and have contacted them regarding an add-on. However, we purchased our add-on through DVC.

I would use them again and I really liked Pat Spell.

If they have waht you are looking for, GO FOR IT!::yes::

We've added on twice through them, and it went quite smoothly. If you were buying direct, you could start making reservations the day of your deposit. You'll have to wait a few weeks longer to make your first reservation, because Disney will let you start applying points when you make your initial deposit. You'll have to wait till closing on a resale. Other than that, you don't lose a thing. Pat handled the sales for us, and she did a great job. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again if we should need more points.

Another highly recommended for Pat Spell and The Timeshare Store!

We also used Pat Spell for an add on a few years back..

Good Luck..

Bought a 2nd 230 point contract a couple of years ago from The Timeshare Store using Pat Spell. We had no problem wjatsoever. It was easy and efficient...about 6 weeks start to finish.

Pat and Jerry are great. We have added on through Disney and through The Timeshare Store. I like to patronize TTS because they sponsor this forum, which I love. Resale is just as easy as buying direct from DVC but, as others have said, it takes a little longer to close. Being on a waitlist for add-ons from Disney can also take a long time. It may come down to whether there is a resale that's the right size and location and price. Don't hesitate to use The Timeshare Store if you find a good resale!

We also used Timeshare Store to purchase. Not one problem, everything was timely and no surprises!

I am happy to see so many good responses for the TTS, we just sent in our deposit for 150 points at OKW last week, now we are waiting for the ROFR! We have our fingers crossed that everything goes smooth, this is the first time we have used the TTS.

We bought our contract through the Timeshare Store and everything went very smoothly. I would recommend them!!

We bought 2 OKW contracts from the Timeshare Store. Contract #1 for 230 points went smoothly and we closed fairly quick. Painless!!!

Contract #2 for OKW, 270 points was not quite smooth. Alot of lack of communication. Having to send back papers, waiting for lost papers from the seller and then not getting many answers when we called regarding whether Disney exercised it's ROFR. DH was ready to walk away!! When I said this to Timeshare Store, we got answers fairly quickly........and then closed.

Would I use them again.............possibly but for now I am happy with my points!!
