Anyone else worried about fall supplies?

Disinfecting wipes are showing up every once and awhile. Most are store brand. Spray is still not available here.

have to say-tried the kirkland costco brand of wipes for the first time during the pandemic. those lemon scrubbie textured ones are THE BOMB for cutting grease and dirt. i have never used so few wipes/so little elbow grease getting our large stainless steel bbq ready for the season. i miss my clorox and lysol brand in the tubs but i'm sold on the kirkland.

Kirkland is a solid brand. I’ve switched over to them for as much as I could.

We use Kirkland TP. It's on a half inch longer roll than my old brand and the rolls are thicker. I tried it once, skeptically and never went back... except in April when I couldn't get the Kirkland brand.

So, I am trying the Kirkland brand right now as I cracked open a new 36-roll pack (lol) and wanted to see how it was compared to the Member's Mark (Sam's Club) brand. Maybe I'm used to the MM brand, but Kirkland seems thinner and not a soft...

No wipes or lysol spray where I live in SO Cal. SOme people get lucky, but I only go buy groceries once every ten days.

We bought a 3pk of jumbo Lysol wipes and buy 1 get 1 free Clorox spray back in January just by chance. Never bought anything since and we still have some left :)

I also bought 1 gallon of bleach in April for laundry and as back up. That's it for that category.

I was shocked to find disinfectant spray at Walmart, it was Walmart brand and only 1 per customer. It was just lucky I guess.

I really like the Kirkland disinfecting wipes. I don’t use them often, but they are great for certain messy jobs. I had a full pack and 2 partial packs when the pandemic started. I’ve been rationing my use of them and still have most of 1 pack left. I haven’t been able to get them in Costco or on-line and I check on-line fairly often. did happen upon a big tub of chlorox wipes at the store one day so now I have those too. I don’t like those nearly as well.

During the toilet paper hoard in March/April, I finally scored some Costco Kirkland toilet paper through Costco.com. I'm working through it now. It's fine, but it's definitely not my favorite. I'll be glad when it's done. I definitely prefer Charmin. On the other hand, I do really like the Kirkland paper towels. Not *quite* as good as Bounty but almost.

I'm just wondering if I'll ever see disinfectant wipes again. People are still buying all of it as soon as it hits the shelves. Don't they have enough yet?
If my kids go back to school in the fall, I'm going to need 8 canisters of disinfectant wipes for their supply lists ( 2 kids, 4 canisters each.)

I’m high risk and don’t need to be in the stores if there’s a second wave. Online shopping at Costco and Sam’s was impossible for certain items. With cases currently popping up in my city I plan on stocking up on some items..stocking up not hoarding.

I plan on getting a big bag of good rice and beans. I couldn’t find any until May and wasn’t happy with the quality. I’ll use it up not to waste it but will buy brands that I prefer.

I plan on buying 1-2 pack of toliet paper hopefully from Costco, if not then Sam’s. One huge pack of Bounce paper towels. A four pack of clorax wipes or costco/Sam’s brand.

I will buy packs of chicken breast from meat department. I bought frozen bag of mestiqe cooked frozen chicken from Sam’s and not a favorite. The raw chicken breast taste better and I can use for meals and soups.

I hope to prepare better with food items like meats and frozen veggies. Last time a lot of things were sold out.

At Walmart and stores I still can’t find wipes, hand sanitizer, Lysol cleaning spray. Hubby got lucky and found Lysol spray just last week. Stores have been out or you have to get there early or go everyday if your lucky. ordering online my order would get canceled because of out of stock. Being high risk I just stayed home to be safe and hubby works so no early trips to the store.

We like the Kirkland better than Sam’s.

Although you'll pay a premium price, I found that convenience stores were fully stocked with wipes, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. when everyone else was out. 7-11's I avoided but places that are Mobil, Shell, BP were lifesavers.

Just this week I started stocking up on TP, paper towel and Kleenex. I do not want to run out if things get bad again this fall/winter. I think I will also buy extra pasta and canned goods as well, and a few cleaning supplies.

I'm stressing out a bit over not being able to find wipes or cleaning spray. Besides our house, we have two kids going to two different colleges. One will be in an off-campus apartment, so he'll be there even if classes end up being online, and one will be in a dorm. Assuming that happens, that's three different "households" I would like to have supplies for. I'd like to be able to send the kids with at least one tub of wipes or a bottle of spray (with paper towels) each to start.

Yes. I have been using my “hurricane/ any other storm” supplies when COVID came knocking.
so I have started building it back up because it is hurricane season again and for the second wave.
