We used to call this profiteering and put these people in jail. This group in power has no shame.

I’m not argueing that. I’m just saying now. It’s either. IDDM or Non IDDM. I haven’t heard type 1 or 2. Terms used in years. It’s all IDDM or non IDDM.You realize they have 2 totally different causes, right?
And I have never heard that. Could be something that is used in some areas and not others.I’m not argueing that. I’m just saying now. It’s either. IDDM or Non IDDM. I haven’t heard type 1 or 2. Terms used in years. It’s all IDDM or non IDDM.
We get what we need. And yes. Sure you do know why. Anything Dewine needs. We will get.
Ohio has 4450 known cases. New York has 141,100. little different in terms of scale.
Yes. I’m proud of how my state has done. Period. Cuomo could have had anything he needed. He wasn’t prepared. Sad yes. But the leaders of NY were not prepared. What now you are opposed to being proud of how ones state does. Nice.People are dying in some cases because PPE is in such limited supply and you feel good about posting a grotesquely grinning emoticon because you feel your state is a have? What, other states deserve to die if they have not? That's really something to grin about?
This is what passes for friendly discussion on this board now?
There really isn’t type one or two anymore. That ended a few years ago. It’s all treated as type one now. Which is IDDM. Insulin dependent. This is because type 2 can be as bad as type one. Sadly a lot of diabetes is self induced.
There is no way to prepare for all the lies. There is no way to prepare for the dismantling of the national pandemic and bioterrorism response team in 2018. There is no way to prepare for dropping the program to create new technology for manufacturing medical supplies in crisis, which happened in 2017. There is no way to prepare for pulling the plug on our doctors pandemic identification program which happened in 2019. There is no way to prepare for the federal government surplus to be withheld in a time of crisis where the crisis is hitting the worst. Yes, in the future a place like NY will probably realize it's everyone for themselves, with no national coordination.I think when all this ends. It will come out that some Governors prepared very well. Some did not. Either way. I’m just done with it. I feel so bad for those who want to go work but can’t.
I am very confused....I’m not argueing that. I’m just saying now. It’s either. IDDM or Non IDDM. I haven’t heard type 1 or 2. Terms used in years. It’s all IDDM or non IDDM.

no one but you said shame. Acknowledging past wrongs, admitting mistakes, acknowledging the ramifications of those wrongs and striving to not repeat them are good starts. Like acknowledging that we should have paid attention to the warnings in January and at a minimum ramped up production of needed supplies. Admitting that we missed that boat and as a result millions of people will at best be inconvienced and at worst get very sick and/or die. And striving to use data and the power the government has to assist those in need - medically, economically etc., - until this is behind us and we can start to resume normal life.
Yes. My brother in-law. Is type 2. He is IDDM. Back in the day. They called type 2. Non IDDM. Some type 1 and type two requires insulin. Some don’t.
Well. Not accurate. But wish you well. IDDM or non IDDM. Is term used now. Not saying you aren’t correct. In past terminology.Absolutely untrue. I've been dealing with a Type 1 child for over 20 years. Type 1 ALWAYS needs insulin. Their bodies literally make no insulin and they will die without it.
I am very proud of all the great things My People have accomplished. But we are also truly superb at denial.
Let's at least admit the fairy tales, can we? It is a fairy tale to say we have been a Free Market for our illustrious 230 years of Nationhood. Slavery is just one point of that, but hardly the beginning or end. And it is most certainly not all before you were born!
For example, just within the past week (there I go again) , WE have denied that there is a shortage of supplies and equipment in NYC. Someone sneaked them out the back door! And WE declared that the federal surplus is not for the states. And WE changed the wording on the website only AFTER we made that claim. And WE claimed that the federal surplus was bare in January of 2017. Except.... that the website is not the only place where the express purpose of the surplus is mentioned and there are written accounts of the supplies before January of 2017. Yes, WE have a lot to be ashamed of because it's all being done in our name.
I am very confused....

So maybe the US uses terms which are different to the rest of the world?
Are you an endocrinologist? If not, I'll stick with my son's doctor and what she knows.Well. Not accurate. But wish you well. IDDM or non IDDM. Is term used now. Not saying you aren’t correct. In past terminology.
