Mary Jo and Joanna, I haven't seen "Cinderellabration", so I'm not commenting on the show or its performance, but on the thread in general. Mary Jo, I'll bet your daughter is wonderful in it, and I hope that when I'm at the MK in June that I'll get a chance to see her perform in it.
I'm sure you are very proud when you watch her in it.
I don't doubt that reading these kinds of negative comments tears your heart out. I'm sorry that has to happen.
The thing is that lots of people come to this forum seeking advice about what to do on their precious vacations at WDW. They want to hear what people like and dislike, and they want honest opinions. They have no intent to offend anyone (at least I don't think so). There seem to be a number of people here who have the opinion, "The performers have done a great job in the show, but they should rewrite it, since it doesn't have much of a story line." There are others who love it. Readers visit this thread and decide from the varying comments whether they think they would like the show or would rather spend their time some other way. That's just the way it goes with this kind of thing.
Performing artists who have reached a certain level have to endure critiques of their work and the works which they perform. My read of these comments is one of almost everybody liking the performances of the actors. That's something of which to be proud. As for the people who don't like the show itself, they're entitled to their opinions, and some folks on here will want to read those honest opinions. Don't let it get you down!!
Tim, who finds it hard to believe that something titled "Cinderellabration"
could be bad, but those of you who have seen it know better than him.
