I decided since we were finally getting some warm weather here in So Cal that I would spend the day at Disney, also as a treat to myself as I have been inside for almost two weeks sick with the flu.

Well anyway, it was not the peaceful day I expected at all! The crowds were immense, in both parks even. It felt more like at Saturday than a Thursday. Some attractions had 45+ waits in the morning! As a passholder I decided to forgo the commando plan I had and just went with the flow. The crowds made for some interesting maneuvering in each park where they have all the fencing up (Main Street in DL and the walkway before the bridge to PP in DCA.)

They actually ended up adding a second Fantasmic and extending the park hours. When I left at 7:30pm there was still a hefty line of people coming into the parks. It was crazy and cool at the same time!

Wow, interesting. I wonder if after the rain you all had everyone wanted to get out and get their Disneyland on...hehehehe!! They just all better be staying home next week!! LOL!!!

45 min waits, ugh.

I remember a lot of posts from last February talking about the crowds too! Seems like there is no "off" season anymore. Our early October trip was the busiest I have ever seen.

Recession....WHAT recession? ;)

Mike, did you guys finally do the (Fox Overtime contest) trip with the four 2-day Park Hoppers and the hotel stay? You had chosen a February date, right? Or have you been too sick to go? I remember you said you would be staying at the Disneyland Hotel and eating at Goofy's. So how did all of it go (assuming you have already made the trip), or has it not happened yet?
