Anyone else planning for 2008?

Hi

Have only recently joined this group but I love it already. I am totally addicted to Disney and have been to WDW 5 times now. We are planning our next trip which isnt until April / May 2008 and I wondered if anyone else in the UK was planning this far in advance?

Firstly Welcome to this site.
Your not alone in planning for 2008, I've found that since joining this DIS that lots do the same.
We are planning for end of Nov or the first 2wks in Dec 2008.
My DH & Myself are big fans of Disney. Last year we took our son (23) & his girlfriend (21) to Disney, which was there first time and have now converted them.
They also want to go back but also want to buy a house and can't do both. I'm sure that they will be back there again in a few years time.
Hope this site gives you loads of help and info about anything your not sure of as everyone has been to us.

Yes count me in for a booker for 2008. I made the executive decision in our house not to do WDW this year as it would be my 6th trip and 4th in a row. Oh how I am regretting it now. To get me through it I am looking around at what to do next year but chances are (fingers crossed) we may have a baby in tow. So not sure whether to take DS (who will only be in yr 1 then) out of school for the week before Oct half term 08 or hit it in July/Aug in the summer holiday. The baby would only then be 7/8 months old if all goes to plan then - oh the decisions.

I wont be booking for 2008 in WDW, though maybe DLP?

We have to work on the house etc for a few years, though I doubt we will keep to it. We like to go every 2 years to WDW...so fingers crossed for 2009 after our 2007 trip

We can't wait to book for the next trip & have to wait till end of May begining of June to book because the new books won't be out till then but have nearly decided what we are doing most days. This will be our first time seeing all the Christmas lights. If only we could go this year as well but like lorapinky we are decorating at present and have other things to do in the house also but it's nice having something to look forward to even if it's so far away .

i have someone pricing a 7 night disney cruise for us for december 2008 (the dates are released on jan 31st )and will also spend another 2 weeks out there at the same time

Only 3 and a bit months till my 2007 trip (cant wait)

Have bought kids all new clothes which are packed already in new disney micky red suitcases !

Can you let me know who is doing the pricing for Dec 2008 as we have asked Virgin and they are saying that they can't give us a price as its to early & have had the same reply from TCD.

i am only booking the cruise part of it now, disney release next lot of dates on jan 31st .

Another one making plans for July 2008. It will be our 5th trip but this time we're taking my brother and his family on their first trip (his wife and my 2 nephews).

My girls will be 16 and 14 when we go and Disney veterans but they're already planning everything for their wee cousins.

We are fully planned but at the moment, haven't booked.

We intend flying out to LA in August and spending a few days in Disneyland. Then we hope to join the Disney Cruise Line ship the Magic and cruise form California to Florida via the Panama Canal on a 15 day cruise.

When we get to Port Canaveral on 1st of September we will be there for my 42nd birthday and spend a few days in the Beach Club Villas.

Got to pay for it first though !!!
