We, here at BellSouth are watching closely! We begin negotiating a new contract soon. 2 contracts ago, it came down to the wire and I thought for sure we were going to strike, but in the end it all worked out! My DH and I both work for Bell, he has 11 yrs and I have 6 yrs. If we were to strike, all our eggs are in one basket, so to speak. I hope that for the sake of EVERYONE involved, that there is no strike and that the craft employees get all that they are lobbying for or fighting to keep!

I think that is a very gracious apology. Though I'm not directly affected by any strike, I have friends that are, and it's a very scary time for them.

I hope everything works out for everyone.
My husband was laid off 2 years ago and was out of work for 4 months. He ended up having to make a career change and he makes a lot less money than he did before. We are still struggling to get back to where we were before he lost his job.
