See that makes sense because I married a Will type and now I can lust after the Captain-lol.

Add me to the list. During the movie I had to ask my friend who he was. She gave me this strange look and said Johnny Depp, I said who the hell is Johnny Depp.

Please tell me it's ok for a 35 year old woman to have a crush on a movie character!! This afternoon DS11 asked me why I smile every time a POTC or Burger King commercial comes on.
I was so tempted to buy a bootleg copy of the movie Friday, but I didn't. Please let them release it on DVD soon.

Can someone please point me in the direction of the Capt Jack wallpaper and screen savers?

It is definately ok for a 35 year old woman to have a crush on a movie character. I say that because I am a 40...almost 41 year old woman with a crush on same said character!!

But, I did love him in some of his other movies!!!

BTW, we saw it again today. It was quite fun with my DD 17 and her best friend, also 17 and myself drooling whenever Johnny was on screen!!

Unlike some of you, I've been a Johnny Depp fan ever since his Edward Scissorhands days (as strange as that character was). Did you know that his first movie was Nightmare on Elm Street? He's been in many movies especially the last few years and is currently working on a couple of movies. (Yes, I like his work!)

He's a bit of a rebel, only wanting to play kind of off the wall characters. I don't know why he decided to play a pirate except that he has a little girl now that he's crazy about and maybe he's settling down. Complete with eyeliner.

Can't believe this thread is still alive, but since it is I'll post. OK count me in on this club. I'm gonna have to rent Chocolat this weekend.
Finally over the summer cold so i'm gonna go see it for the second time today. And to tell you how much I like it, I'm gonna go see it by myself, something I never ever do. I hope it's a little crowded on a week day or I'll feel a bit strange in the theatre.

Well..see I've really never found Johnny Depp that attractive in the early days of his carreer(like back in his 21 Jump Street days when everyone I knew loved him) he was too baby faced & pretty for me. I think it was in Sleepy Hollow that I started to change my mind and....

Now his Captain Jack Sparrow is just whooo hooo!(stops to wipe drool off of her keyboard), I haven't had a movie crush like this since Han Solo in Star Wars!
