Anyone else hate Crocs, Crocs threads, and even typing "Crocs"

To those who think Crocs are "Regional"...a thought.

I live in Colorado which is where Crocs were invented and are still currently made. I've owned mine for over 4 yrs, bought them the second I put them on. I have amassed over 7 pair and wear them year round and I do wear them with socks...GASP!

I used to be the ONLY PERSON around to wear them, and believe me, I got the looks. Didn't bother me, and still doesn't, my feet feel great!

Over the years I've seen them slowly gain momentum until the last 2 years when they just took off!

I am guessing that if you don't see them in your area, you will soon. They are a modern marvel in the footware industry and are only going to get bigger. If you don't like them, don't buy them, but from what I've seen 1st hand, there are a lot of Croc lovers out there, and the fan base grows daily.

Why don't they come in narrows? I tried but couldn't keep the things on my feet!!!

I think they look like ridiculous clown shoes! And what is up with the holes in them?? Um, hello, rain? Snow?? I've heard they are very comfortable, but to be honest they are so un-manly I don't think I could bring myself to wear them! I've only seen two people wearing them.

Count me in as one who thinks they're so ugly that they should be among the shoes that even Marshalls can't sell.

I was dying to try on a pair to see what this "comfort" thing is... I mean they're rubber! But afer reading your thread (no narrows) I probably won't even go that far - AA

Thank goodness!! I was beginning to think that I was the only one who thought these shoes were too hideous for words. Blech.
