Anyone else excited?

Ok Call me a Disney Addict.

We are going Labor day (actually leaving on Aug 30) and staying for 8 days.

All I can think of is 50 more days till WDW. My husband and my 9 year old son are so calm.


Is anyone else as obsessed as me?

Hi Jakesmom ~ yup my DD and I are soooo excited

We started our counter at 225 days and now we are under 40!

We have a paper link chain that we made and it hangs from our second floor into the living room - it used to touch the floor - now my DD has to stand on the couch to rip a link off - pretty soon she will have to start doing it from upstairs... its a fun way to countdown and when the chain has one link left - it's time to go!

Jakesmom1 I am very excited, our soon to be 7 year old doesn't know we are going. He will be very surprised. My only problem because of DH's work, we don't know if we will be going on August 16 or the 23. If we go on the 16th, we will only be there for 8 nights, but if we go on the 23rd, we get to stay 9 nights. so I'm hoping for the later date hey one extra night is an extra day of magic. So I'm going nuts.

Yes!!!
We also have the paper chain. I'm the first one to think of each morning. I count the links three or four times a day. Pretty much everyone is tired of hearing me talk about my trip (even, can you believe, those coming with me! ) Of course I have the amazing ability to take any conversation and turn it into a Disney trip conversation. Anyone else have thet blessing/curse?

Good thing we have these boards. It is good to come here and find others who will ALWAYS talk Disney. And who undersand the frenzy of excitement of an upcoming trip.

Watching that counter gooooooooo!

Oh my goodness, I know what you mean. I drive my husband nuts with talk of our trip. To top it off, we're not going until 8/04! I share an office with my coworker and I'm sure I drive her crazy too, but she's so polite and just listens. I love it when someone asks me a question about WDW, especially when they're thinking of going. I also enjoy talking to friends that have been there. Can you tell I'm a newbie? I got the trip planner DVD from Disney several months ago and me and the kids watched it. Hubby refused at the time saying it would spoil his trip. Well, low and behold, this weekend we sat down to watch a movie and I told him to pick one. He picked the Disney DVD! I just looked at him wide-eyed and he said " Don't say a word." It was too funny!

I'm glad I found these boards too. Now if I can only figure out how to do the countdown counter thingy.....

I remember we started counting for this last trip when we had over 365 days to go. We are under 140! We will buy FL Resident season passes again and will use them for 5 trips.

Yes, I drive everyone crazy, especially myself! BUT...I've never been happier.

We are going for our longest trip yet! And at a deluxe!

I just did the countdown thingy and just realized that I have less than 40 days till my trip to Walt Disney World. Not only is this our first trip there, but we're getting married there too! I feel like I'm bouncing off the walls with joy!

I've even infected my mother and FMIL. My mom is super excited - I haven't seen her this excited since we went to Hawaii over 15 years ago! And my future mom-in-law just keeps talking about how giddy she is about everything! It's so great to be this happy and see everyone else be excited too!

I am just as bad I talk about our trip all the time. I am SO EXCITED I have never been before, I pour over the advise on all the boards,make lists, make PS's, book Birthday cruise, and most nights its the last thing I think of before I fall asleep.

We're getting married at the Yacht Club's Gazebo! There's only going to be us and our moms and his stepdad - so only 5 people in total. I think it's going to be real nice and intimate - we're going to have a brunch on the Grand 1 Yacht following the ceremony. Woo hoo!

I have a pile of stuff that's growing each day of things that go with me to WDW!! Poor dh just looks at it and rolls his eyes. I, also, can turn any conversation into a Disney one. My family wants to know what I'm going to talk about after 8/23. My next trip of course!!!
