so the trip is on!!

my nephew is still in the hospital, but will be released in another day or two...
he can't go back to his apartment in chicago because he has to have someone watch him 24 hours a day - so he has to go home with my sister and brother in law to detroit...

he's not permitted to fly for at least 2 months, so they'll drive home (fortunately only a 5 hour drive from chicago)...

anyway, when i asked my sister if she would attend the conference two weeks from now, she thought she might be since there are others who can watch over Josh while she's away for a few days....and in any case, she wants me to attend the conference to attend the various lectures...

so the trip is on....and since the trip is on, if all goes according to plan, i will be at the mini-meet at the poly on june 26th!! hopefully, with my sister and mom in tow

thanks again for the good wishes for my nephew!!! it's going to be a long road to recovery for him, all the pixie dust will certainly help!!

I am so glad your nephew seems to be doing better! I will keep sending the pixie dust!

It is also great news that you might be able to come, keep us updated if anything changes. I will be heading to the airport hotel on the 14th, so after that I will see you all at the Poly on the 26th!
