Anyone do Akershus Princess Breakfast?

How was this? What princesses did u see? How was the food?

We did it in June 2008. We really enjoyed it and thought the food was very good - it's a combination of hot food served to you and a cold breakfast buffet.

We saw Belle (greeting), Jasmine, Aurora, Mulan and Snow White - I think that's it the day we were there.

I would do it again sometime.

We really enjoyed this meal. It's a nice combination with the cold buffet and the hot plate of food.

We saw Belle (photo), Cinderella, Aurora, Snow White and Ariel.

We had a late breakfast 10:50 am and they started to switch the cold buffet over to lunch items just before noon.

We did the breakfast this summer. The cold buffet was pretty good, I have a son who loves cold meats, and my daughter is in to yogurt. The hot meal was just ok. People rave about the potatos, I thought they had a fake taste to them.

I didn't mind that the meal was so-so. The character interaction was great. We saw Belle, Ariel, Cinderella, Snow White, and Sleeping Beauty. They spent plenty of time at the table. My daughter loved it. She really wanted to meet the princesses, and it saved lots of time waiting on line to meet them. The only one we missed was Mulan (my son's fav), we saw her in China later that day and waited for about 5 min.

We did this back in 2005, so this might be kind dated. We thought the food was good, nothing extraordinary, but good breakfast food. The princesses are what made this meal for us. Thats what you go there for anyways, or thats what we went there for. We saw Aurua (sp?), Mulan, Bell (I think), and two others. (I know great memory here...) Some were better than others. We were two adults and some of the princesses just came up, stood for a photo and left, while others interacted with us even tho we didn't have any kids which we really appreciated. All in all it was a good meal.

If you want to see almost all the princesses, Akershus is the place. We ate there Sept 08 & have reservations for Jan. My princesses love it! We saw Belle, Aurora, Snow White, Mulan & Jasmine. Our friends just got back & they saw Ariel too! The food is good--just breakfast. The cheesy potatoes are good, eggs & bacon--for hot food. Then just a cold buffet--fruit, pastries. Can't remember what else. The best character interaction--IMHO. Best value for most characters--if princesses are a must

We ate here for dinner earlier this month. We got the best princesses....Belle, Snow White, Aurora, Cinderella and Ariel. The appetizer is buffet style. My husband and I liked several things...our girls, however, only ate the bread and butter, everything else was too fancy for them (ages 5 and 6). The main meal was a dish you ordered from a menu. None of our meals were extraordinary by any means, they were all "ok". Dessert was served family style...either 3 or 4 different items on one plate and you all got a little bit of each. That being said...it was totally awesome to see all the princesses in one spot and I'd go there again!

We had breakfast at Akershus this past August. The food was okay. There's a buffet of pastries and fruit. The family style platter brought to the table consisted of eggs, potato casserole and bacon. But we didn't really go for the food. My daughter loves the princesses. The princesses there at the time were Belle (greeter), Princess Aurora, Cinderella, Snow White and Ariel with her green dress.

It was good. The hot platter of eggs bacon potatoes i felt was very small for our family of 5, it was like we each got a small scoop of eggs. We did wind up asking for me which we got, i guess im saying they should have been a bit more generous in the portion of eggs they put on our platter. The cold buffet was good.

When we eat at Akershus we only eat there for Breakfast. This is our favorite princess breakfast. We will be eating there for the 3rd time in December. The last two times that we have gone we saw Belle greeting in her yellow dress, then Jasmine, Mulan, SW and SB at the table. My family, personally, loves the food at Akershus and we always get a ADR before park opens. The interaction is topnotch I would recommend this breakfast to anyone.
