Anyone concerned about the current pool situation at the resorts?

I stayed at Beach Club in summer 2019 and my favorite time to swim was in the evening, after returning from the parks. No sunburns and it was less crowded. The pools were open quite late then - 10 or 11 I believe, and the quiet pool at the Polynesian was open until midnight.

We have our first BC stay coming up in June and appreciate this advice. My girls are all teens so I think we will plan our pool time for after the parks, depending on hours. Then everyone can shower and be ready to hit the ground running in the morning.

Thanks for your report. We'll be there in a few weeks and I'm hoping the crowds will die down a little post Easter, but it isn't looking likely.

Yeah Its hard to get a true report over the insane spring break time. Id love to hear your experience from later in April. We have a BCV trip in early June.

I'll make sure to report back after our trip. It feels like the experience is rapidly evolving, so it is hard to keep up, or know what to expect.

For a summer resort only stay I would stay off property. If having a good pool is the key motivator, there are loads of good options nearby with lazy rivers, better kid areas and more capacity.

It really depends on what your priorities and budget are, as well as your group. Adults only or kids? How old? Do you plan to commando tour the parks or do you want to take a more leisurely pace with breaks and spend time at the resort? Which parks do you want to spend the most time in? There can be wildly different suggestions based on these answers.

I'm hoping they're open late again this summer. In 2020, I believe they closed at 9. The quiet pools were open later, but I don't think it was until midnight.
