anyone check 1st week of june lately?

just got "dinged" ~ $50 each way long island/mco
soooo, figured i would squeeze in a trip 6/3 thru 6/8 for DD & self (DH & i have a trip planned in Oct).
now i'm getting a smidge nervous. (i've always taken a good year to plan a vacation! ) has anyone called recently for a studio? we're really hoping for the BWV (any view), second would be BCV or SSR ......really don't want to spend the extra pts to get a 1-bdrm for just 2ppl....
oh, how i wish MS was open sundays!!

Long story short...

We called MS to extend our vacation on Wednesday of this last week. We already had SSR booked for 6/1- 6/6 (check out) in a studio. Anyway, found a good flight to extend the trip. We booked the flight and then called MS and dropped 6/1 (Friday) and picked up 6/6- 6/8 (check out).

So there were studios available at SSR on Wednesday at least for closer to the end of the week.

We got the same ding and we booked it. We got a similar ding a month ago and didn't do it (sunday ding also), but we found out Monday that SSR was the only one available for that week. Not sure if anything has changed, but with another trip planned for Dec, we figure if there is no availability, we'll just get a southwest credit towards that trip.

Bought a ding yesterday for the 9th and 10th all that was available for both nights was SSR.

Just to update... I got off the phone with MS about an hour ago. We were able to get a studio at SSR. Funny thing is that we were told they had no studios, and only a 1 BR for 2 of the 3 nights. We were accidentally disconnected and when I called back, a studio was available for all 3 nights. Sometimes it's nice to disconnected!!!

Just to update... I got off the phone with MS about an hour ago. We were able to get a studio at SSR.

congrats!!
i was able to get an SSR studio for 6/3, & 6/5-6/8 (waitlisted 6/4).
also waitlisted the 5 nights as a group at BWV & BCV.
never stayed at SSR before (tho i own there, as well as BWV & BCV)...the change might be fun!

Thanks!!! You too! I would have the done the same as you if given that offer. They had some 1BR avail that week... did you check maybe if you could get that for the one night while you waitlist the studio?

Either way its tough to turn down a $50 ding!! LOL
